I think my Mac might still be running Panther? or whatever 10.3.9 is. It definitely has reached an evolutionary/upgrade bottleneck, what with its 256 megs of RAM and G3 processor. It makes a lovely MP3 server in our kitchen though, when it's not trying to cook its logic board for the third time. You gotta love that generation of iBooks! Thankfully, Jeff's games are easy on the system, so I'll have a chance to play the A5 demo this week while my wife is out of town. :) Out of curiosity, is there any way to fix the stupid keychain issue whenever there's a security update? I understand that it should prompt me to change this automatically, but seldom seems to do so until two or three restarts, and always prompts while the computer is shutting down! 1. If circumstances allowed for you to meet a fellow Spiderwebber who would you choose to meet? Probably Salmon, to go fishin' on the new boat. 2. What do you consider as the magnum opus of these boards? The time a number of us spammed one topic into (I believe) a full-blown UBB malfunction, and subsequently were slapped on the wrist by Imban. Or the "Undead Topics Need Loving, Too (a.k.a. monikers)" thread. 3. Does the recent increase in spam content irk you? Just the nature of it. It's pretty dumb right now, without the naivete of Ben's spam. That, or I'm just a lot less patient these days. 4. What is the last Spiderweb game or BoA/BoE scenario you have completed. Diplomacy with the Dead. 5. Explain why you choose to participate in these boards. Bored at work. 6. Are you a regular poster at a satellite forum of SW? If so post the name(s) of it/them. Nope. 7. Of all current members, who do you think deserves to be a moderator. (Answer should not be a current moderator) No one. The current mods are solid. 8. For simple consensus: what is your current country/nation/territory of residence? What is your native tongue? United States of America; English. You know, country and nation are more or less synonymous. It probably depends on when you play. There are usually a number of us addicts who log back on immediately after rollover to get our fix. If you play in the middle of the day, on the other hand, it might seem a bit of a ghost channel. EDIT: Oh, and I'm willing to admit that Civ II may be the largest contributing factor to my only C in undergrad. :( [ Friday, November 23, 2007 07:41: Message edited by: Drew ] -------------------- In today’s America, there are more World of Warcraft players than farmers. I do prefer the other white meat to turkey, but there's still a lot of love for turkey in my heart. I would also posit that a turkey doesn't need to be brined or marinaded, so long as you use an oven bag - keeps the moisture in, and makes the whole process much, much easier. Finally, Excal, if you prefer deer, then aren't you the one who's unclean? -------------------- In today’s America, there are more World of Warcraft players than farmers. It's a pretty minor holiday. Of course it gets some attention where I live, but for the most part, most of the war dead-honoring occurs on Memorial Day. -------------------- In today’s America, there are more World of Warcraft players than farmers. That wouldn't necessarily disqualify you from having relatives, be they co-derived from said entity's forehead, or possibly rising from the frothy foam of the sea, the indirect result of an unorthodox patristerilization. -------------------- In today’s America, there are more World of Warcraft players than farmers. I would assume that since you live in Winnemucca yet complain about it, you are still in your parents' custody, and therefore under the age of majority.
