Ah. Changing screenames... Thank you, folks. And the ever solid SirDavid. :) Edit: Arancaytar: People who think they'll use these forums but don't, and people who want a screename to scare people with and not be traced to them. Okay, here goes. No flaming, please. I've been noticing recently that some people have multiple accounts. This does not suprise me in the slightest. What does, however, is that I'm either going insane, or replies are doing SN switches without any edits. I had replied to what someone had said with the usual (name here): (message) format, but when I came back later, the name I had replied to was no longer there. http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=10&t=000915#000008 That's the most recent one I've noticed. Check my third post for the inaccuracy. Everyone knows that Reality has multiple accounts. One of them is The Celestial Saggot, another The Flying Jellybean. The name kinda did a switch on me. Also, http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=001462;p=2 Could someone clear this up for me? -------------------- Chance Forums. Whenever I make creations, which is not often, I give them names. I play as a Shaper, but I usually just start out with one Fyora that I level up until it can handle on it's own. Then I make an Artilla or a Searing Artilla. Think the last time I made a Fyora, its name was Hrath. I don't know where I got the name. The Artillas I make usually have acid somewhere in their names, sometimes only the letters. Katanacid, Searcidth, etc. The last Drayk I made had the name Sorath, maybe because it had wings. Marcelo's got a point. To this, I add: Boats have always played a small role. In GF1, there was a reason for this, obviously. But GF2.. you could've had a small boat that travels rivers. Heck, you could even have special mutations that only live on a certain island. And what about in GF1, that "specially modified Drayk" that served as your craft? Why can't we make those? That'd be fun! Fire-spitting ships! Posts: 153 | Registered: Tuesday, December 2 2003 08:00 |

skrewet, let's try not to tick off the board members. Generally, that ticks off the moderators, too. To be brutally honest, I don't like AoE 1 at all. AoE 2 was better, but I think I wasted money on the first one. Having never bothered playing online, I couldn't tell you whether you're playing idiots or not. but you might try Starcraft. I know 20 year olds who are still playing that. Warcraft 3, too. Kinda pity he who goes against that 20 year old, actually... :D Knock yourself out, if it interests you. To be honest, the type of newbie you're talking about annoy other newbies, too. Obviously, I'm newbie. But even I know to use the search feature. I mean, it's just sitting there. And that reminds me: (annoying newbie question which should never have to answered again) could someone tell me how to put a jpg on this site so everyone can see it? The last time I tried, I was the only one who could see it. And then Geocities got mad at me. Arcblade. Hmm... well. That was the name of a character I almost made a story out of. Arc is a mathamatical term , meaning a curve of some sort. Blade is probably a reference to the swords I like to draw during boring classes. -------------------- Chance Forums. Posts: 153 | Registered: Tuesday, December 2 2003 08:00 |

In most cases, it's the peasents that hate me, not vice versa. I end up having to kill people for no particular reason. Mostly in Geneforge. In Exile and Avernum, if I really, really hate a town, they might fall prey to payback. But fortunatly for the human race, that doesn't happen often. -------------------- Chance Forums. I... I understood all of what you just said! Must have read too many books this week. Slith: His writing's not too bad. I agree with Arancaytar, though, that it's not particularly original. Tell him to keep writing. Stories have a way of getting better as you rewrite them. -------------------- Chance Forums. Posts: 153 | Registered: Tuesday, December 2 2003 08:00 |

What really bothers me about all these different religions is the Jihads. According the the Qor'an, as far as I know, you're supposed to convert people peacefully, and you're not supposed to kill. (I'm Protestant Christian, so I wouldn't know much about Islam) The Crusades were also not santioned by the Bible. In the 10 commandments, it says, "Thou shalt not kill." I can't say anything for Hindus and Buddhists, but I'm guessing there's something around those lines in their holy books. -------------------- Chance Forums. BT probably has the right of it. On CNN, I saw a video clip of him getting a med exam. He wasn't really doing much. They probably drugged him. They said he was "talkative and cooperative." I'm sorry, but that just doesn't sound like the guy who mass-murdered the Kurds. They say he has all the scars of Saddam and some new ones that could've come from the bombings. So maybe he is Saddam. But I don't think he's completely concious. Either that, or he's playing it safe and hoping that his friends in Iraq will bust him out after the US has turned him over to the Iraqi war crimes court. -------------------- Chance Forums.
