I found the suspicious serviles but then what shall I do?

I have one room that haven't survey yet for I decided to give paper to the shaper side.

I don't see the improvement of my hit either. Maybe it might be useful with higher level monsters.

Anyway, I am now wearing clover boots and I still have to reload often to get some artila eyes for my blessed necklace. (it sells at good price.)

I still couldn't find the breastplate. Could it be that I need more points of luck?

I don't know about hit percentage but I have to disagree with item dropping having to do w/ luck.

Maybe this should bear further investigation but from my experience, it doesn't seem much different having luck or not. First time I tried this G3, I got some quite nice body parts from the Bridge in Greenwood without any point of luck whatsoever.

Later, I got the luck charm and I get some quite nice items on and off - I don't think that different from 3 points of luck.

However, some items could only be found with certain of luck such as the key in fort wilton (though I still get exp compensated for breaking in the storages).

I wonder that some boxes or crates that I have looked and showed emptiness could have something to do with luck in my stat?

If I have more points of luck, will they have some items?

Holding shed row in Geneforge Series

I am sending the ones in Holding Shed Row to their master randomly.
I have been a purist until now but read the ending of pro shaper altered and think it might not be so bad after all.

I guess I will try a few more areas and see what I decide to do. I wish the limit could change to 9 instead of 6. I have no problem with no shaping since I am an agent but hate to miss those QA, parry, or other tempting stats an agent probably needs.

Does it make any different in opinion point where one tells the refugees to go? I just chose one at random and when I came back to the area, they are gone!

I am doing pro shaper although I plan to do Koama's quest (she gives more exp) - hopefully, it won't mess things up.

It would be nice if someone could come up with the point award system of opinions.

Many questions on this area for it seems to be a place where a lot of decisions have to be made.

1. I read the G3 hintbook and it said that there are many items of note - so far I found only the shaped blade. Where are the other items? (shaped guantlet, steel shield, steel breastplate)

2. how do I get the serviles in the wood quest? is it pro-rebel quest? I am now pro shaper although gave a few pro rebel opinions.

3 and if anyone is doing quest for koama in bulwark inn would give more details on it, I would greatly appreciate.

thanks for answers

I have just finished the second island and got a lot of skill points to spend yet not so sure what I will be facing next. As a result, I don't dare upgrading my agent. Anyway, I am doing all right at the moment and that is also one of the reasons I haven't added any points to any of my skills.

I probably could add a few more points to my magic spells but what about leadership and mechanics if I would need them later?

So far, I am able to get along fine with 8 points for each and with the help of the tinker's gloves and the livetools, everything is just ok. (I could have used unlock spell too but didn't b/c I won't get exp. that way.)

Don't know if anyone has the hard time with the decision as I do or not.

I am an item-collector too. :D Actually, now that I have got an agent cloak, I am pretty much safe to dispose other robes and cloaks, but well, I am not yet that hard up.

Normally, I manage my items well, having left them at big city like San Ru and Kentia. However, I had gone to Fort wilson and just did something I wanted to undo but couldn't so I went back to the beginning of harmony island adventure; therefore got a bit confused about some items that I fear that I might have left behind.

Now I remember that I gave the wand away for the quest after using it up. However, I still want to find the ivory skull. Does anyone know how to work with the script listed here?

Also, whereabout in the Inner Mines is the wand of inferno? I could have sold it by mistake. Anyhow, I wish to know how to add item into my inventory (I remember doing something like that in avernum but not sure how to do it here). Please help.

I replayed the harmony island and forgot where the ivory skull is. I have just finished the island and still don't have it. Can I use script to get the wanted item? How?

Could someone give me a hand here, please?

thanks.

If one gives pro-rebel opinions and destroys creator, would Greta be leaving as well?

Is there a way to get both of them till Gull Island?

I actually like Greta and am really looking forward to her searer and essence orb powess but not necessary want to offend the shapers.

Maybe a character as a full shaper, which means starting with stronger stats? No more school but more job related plots.

Something I find interesting in this area: Although I have asked for help, I didn't pick the creatures up and as a result found that the rogues rose from the swamp twice.

Further on in the game, I would tend to forget where I leave things and what I have done so far. It would be nice to have a log feature add in the journal section.

Also, how about increasing the max no. of canister using for purist - maybe 9-10 for an easier mode?

I like this G3 more than G2. Traveling from island to island makes the game seem quicker and more accomplished on my part. I don't feel exhausted and bored like I did in G2. If anything G3 seems a bit easier than G2 - for a not-so-good player like me anyway.

I think this probably due to your killing Shen at Roamer Marsh and your giving the canister to Lankan.

Do neither and you will still get both of them. I think they are pretty useful for agent. My only mistake is focusing too much on strength instead of dex for Greta.

How do you like your creation army to be? in Geneforge Series

Do the picked up creations like alwan and greta eat up your XPs? I think I had tested it when I first picked up Alwan and it didn't seem to change the xp point either way. It might be different with your shaping creatures though.

I have tried shaper way back in G1 and just could never manage it. So I get bored and started with guardian and then agent. I am now happy with being the agent.

Testing Grounds and Sea Cave in Geneforge Series

The first golem test was not hard for I did the same thing by waiting near the essence pool - that way my then essence would still be plenty to fight it.

The second test was ok b/c I utilize the bracelet to create fyoras and placed them along the way to the pool to lure the golem out. When the two are far apart, they don't seem to heal each other.

However, I guess I might need a bit of updating before trying the third test.

btw, I got the agent's cloack from the kyra's refuge so it has been a great help.

G3 is much easier than G2 in my opinion and more interesting. I like the island pattern. It makes me feel accomplished at each island's completion. (And I always play easy mode.)

how to obtain both Greta and Alwan after Harmony Island in Geneforge Series

Thanks for the advice. Yes, my problem is probably the hoarding of the gemstones. I started collected them and feel rather reluctant to depart from them. BTW, I actually picked up all the shirts and pot plants everywhere I went. :D I guess it's just my dark side acting up in the non-real world. :P

I admit I find more joy in hunting for treasures than for rogues though. I also like finishing quests but not so keen on taking side for I think both sides need a bit of spankings to come into some sense.
