Don't bother. Apparentally, there is a way to change the "things done" flag, so there's no need to make a patch.

Not exactly sure how. If anyone would know how, I'd appreciate if they'd post how to.

It was a pointless experiment, and the top half of the fort wasn't mad at me, and I figured their were no reprocusions. :P

I just finished the whole Basalt Fortress quest, and now I'm going to Spire Fortress, but I can't get there because I killed the Portal Mage, seeing if he had any good equipment. My game is at a unsolvable break, because of a Fine Robe and 20 gold. :o

First off, no need to double-post.

Secondly, against Radiant Pylons, use Lightning Spray and Unshackle Mind if it casts Terror on your party.

The Blessed Athame was a special item, not being able to be used except in the Tower of Magi before it was destroyed in Exile/Avernum III when you sliced Linda then teleported home. There might have been some other references but that's the only one I remember.

EDIT

Not to mention it solves most of your money problems.
While that IS true, when their turn comes up, they heal themselves, and by the time I destroy two or three, my mages have their spell points used up, and I'm trying to keep at least five energy potions for the Basalt Fortress so I have to go back to Fort Remote to recharge. My mages/priests can't do enough damage without me having to sacrifice Fighter, who attacks and dies/is frozen quickly.

As for curing a frozen PC, the only thing I ever found to work was Divine Restoration.

I'm trying to level up my priest, so I'll wait until he can learn that spell until I venture any further.

Gah! Whenever I try to enter Rentar's Fortress (for the first time) as soon as I get near the pylons, I get frozen, even if I cast Prismatic Shield. I can't get all my party members past the pylons, I tried destroying them, and they froze me and then killed me. I tried running past them after I hasted all my characters, they still froze my characters. I've tried to find some strategy to keep my characters from being frozen but so far, I've got nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

I just picked up the Frozen Blade, which does 11-33 damage, while my current weapon, a Blessed Broadsword, does 12-36 damage. However, the Frozen Blade is a "Jinx Blade". What does that mean?

The third and hardest, I thought, is just a bit south of where the road curves to go east to Fort Draco.
Lizardmen? I don't see any sliths around the Fort Draco route...

You need to go upstairs. The reward is high though, I believe it was 1000 or 1500 coins. Not bad for two minutes work.

Also, once you find it check the desks and chests near it. They contain good items, or you could just sell them. :)

My party is hammered by magical attacks. They can withstand a fairly powerful melee attack, but against poison and magic they don't have much defense.

No matter how many items I sell, I never can seem to have enough money. I'm trying to invade Rentar's fortress (for the 1st time) and I wanted to buy some powerful items but I never have enough gold. Anyone have any suggestions to getting some quick gold?
