Well at least this is a more interesting clone of Nephil vs. Slith. As for the vahnatai, it is important to remember that not all of them follow the path that Rentar-Ihrno chose. To add in my two cents, Sulfras > Rentar While I'm at it, Erika > Rentar Let it begin... -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

It seems to me that the continent/island is a bit imbalanced. All the non-grassy regions are to the north. The South just seems kinda plain and boring... -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I like the idea of having it implode. Explosions are used far too often, and dying out is just blah... -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I think a time limit would help out. It would end this feeling that the RP is just lingering on without actually going anywhere. This happens to most RP's because people refuse to accept it when the RP is dead. Post length should also be limited. People lose interest when others start writing small novels. If I wanted to know what your character has been doing every minute for the past five years I'd ask... -------------------- Lt. There are a variety of problems with the RP's; however, I don't see this as a feasible solution, since none of the issues are really addressed. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

We once thought that the very small scale had no reason to be a special case. We were wrong then. Maybe we are wrong now... [ Monday, November 12, 2007 14:22: Message edited by: Lt. Sullust ] -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Overpopulation isn't the primary concern; extinction is. As for the rest of the critters that we share this rock with, we should help those that can't help themselves. Let the dolphins build their own ships. ;) -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I think the problem of water is more a question of efficiency. As it is we probably waste water more than anything else. Over a period of time we give off the same amount of water we take in... -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

Eventually the Earth won't be here anymore. A couple billion years from now this galaxy will be tangled up with another one. The end of the universe; however, is far off from either of those events. For the survival of humanity we need to get off this rock. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

I agree that there are flaws to such a system. I just beat FFVIII the other day and my strongest character was only level 18. Which reminds me of a unique mechanic in that game. The ability to turn random encounters on/off (via Diablo's Encounter None ability). It allows players that don't want to deal with all the minor fights and grinding to simply skip them. -------------------- Lt. There's something to be said about making the game harder when the party levels. I'd hope that the goblins would choose better tactics after I slaughtered a great deal of them. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Quaere verum Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |
