You might want to rethink that. Cotra, Silvar, and Fort Avernum have been destroyed. Fort Duvno is the only town in the Eastern Gallery that is still standing...

It wasn't that he was undead; however, he was using specific characters from another game. For the sake of the RP, it's best just to come up with your own...

I don't mind; but I think one of the moderators might want to edit out part of Alec's quick update...

In the mean time, Tyran I believe our factions had an agreement where you'd provide mine with food in exchange for an outpost in the Eastern Gallery. As soon as Fort Dranlon is rebuilt you will be welcome to station troops there...

Khoth's Disciples

Location: The primary base for this faction is set up at Fort Dolthar. In addition, there are 6 smaller outposts, three on the shores west, south, and east of Fort Dolthar, one on an island to the north, one on the largest island in the Eastern Gallery, and the final outpost is located at Fort Dranlon.

Leadership: The role of Magistrate, is held by Acrio Sulfi. In addition, two older mages, Denrich, and Master Krynt assist him in maintaining order.

Ideology: The primary goal of Khoth's Disciples is the collection and preservation of knowledge, both magical and mundane. After the revolt, the Tower of Magi was plundered. The disciples managed to slip out with a few scrolls.

Military: Khoth's Disciples has no official military. The Faction is composed of 40-50 mages, most of whom are still apprentices. Of the more powerful wizards, Master Krynt is the strongest; however, his age has slowed his casting abilities.

History: After establishing a base on Fort Dolthar, Khoth's Disciples set about securing their territory with various outposts. In this expansion, they arrived at Fort Dranlon and accidentally set of an explosive trap set by the mysterious Ohvol. Rescued by the Vahnatai lead by Iktin-Bok, Acrio Sulfi learned that Ohvol had been responsible for the destruction of every major city within the Eastern Gallery. Unable to defeat such a foe single-handedly, Sulfi returned to Fort Dolthar to begin further preparations.

The Factions Listed below can be utilized by anyone:
Iktin-Bok
First and foremost, these vahnatai are from a friendly clan. Secondly, they have set up temporary barriers to prevent Ohvol from entering Northeastern Avernum. They have been sent to track down, and destroy Ohvol.

Ohvol
A deceptive creature from caves even below the lands of the Vahnatai, he uses the ability to change shape and manipulate weaker-minds to decieve others. It was his talent at this that lead the people of Silvar and Cotra to go to war with one another. Aside from this he is capable of no true magic. Unfortunately, because of his shape-changing ability, no one has seen his true form.

I prefer these Scenarios. However, even with nuclear missles, it would be difficult to extinguish all life on earth. Or for that matter all humans, we're a resilient bunch, insane to the extreme, but resilient...

Sounds like explorer.exe is having issues. Next time just hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and open up the task manager. Under the File menu select New Task. Type explorer.exe and hit OK. That should bring them back without the need to restart...

The Guild doesn't really need someone in control of it. It can just be a neutral group of mercenaries for hire. Anyone can utilize the guild, but those who offer more can expect better results...

Truth. Seriously, that movie was so... disappointing. My first midnight showing and it was wasted, just like so many other first times.

In other news, Calvin and Hobbes never goes out of style.

Even if the first movie did well, the 'church' would be even more up in arms about the last two...

It seems to me that there aren't many factions left on the surface (if any). To make things easier, it'd probably be best to have some traumatic event happen on the surface that forced survivors to go underground. A meteor impact, what not...

Also, the excess factions in Avernum could be taken care of by Ohvol...

If you were homeless, what would you do?

I've noticed that it seems to be very common for people to deny the validity of statistics which don't agree with their view. Numbers don't lie; however, people can use them in very misleading ways...

Why would a poor person be less concerned about who visits them? I hope that money doesn't make you feel closer to your relatives...

As for eco-cars, of course they are going to be expensive. New technology is always expensive. The point is to introduce them so that they become less expensive in time through further development. Home computer's used to cost thousands of dollars, now children in third world countries can get laptops that cost $200...
