Oh oops the Mother 1+2 thing isn't DS, it's just advance... If you can read japanese you could import one for about $60 including shipping :P Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

I think he was saying the prefab party's Nephilim had an extra dexterity put into them over the humans. Of course I never used the prefab party so I wouldn't know. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Check this out. The ending is a bit inappropriate, but the rest of the movie is funny. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Earthbound for the Super Nintendo. It's on the DS in Japanese now with its prequel as "Mother 1+2" or something like that, one of the two games in one cartridge things, so maybe they'll release it here too. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

For computer or consoles? For the computer I would suggest World of Warcraft, the Blizzard MMO. It has a monthly fee and a pretty hefty purchase price, but everyone I've talked to said it's worth it. Also the Forgotten Realms games are pretty good, ie. Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale, Baldurs Gate. Not many nowadays are doing turn-based battles though. Well if nobody is really too attached too their post count or member number, they could just wipe the forums and go to phBB... phBB has options to limit both avatar dimensions and size. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Try going to a good old fashioned Walkthrough site. Or search "Exile # Walkthrough" or "Exile # Spell Locations." Of course, the Orb of Thralni pwns Flight and is in most cases easier to find. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Happened to me too, but it's no big deal. Just go to Silvar and buy another. Or Almaria. Or you can use the editor to "Return all boats to start" or whatever it says. Of course, that lets you go back through all that stuff from Chapter 2 if you missed something. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Sorry for omitting the location of the Identify spell, but I don't play E3, I just know it's there because Jeff didn't remove any spells that I use from E2 when he made E3. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

As far as all those tips go, I already do that stuff. I just ran through the cavern really quick a little after starting, only the 3rd or 4th dungeon I've been to so far. I was just wondering if it was possible with the crystal or not because the crystal is found there. And it's definitely a Force Barrier, not a Fire Barrier (to use the E2 equivalents), with no passages going past it. Grim Cavern has been in both Exile and Exile II a place where you HAVE to dispel the barrier to finish it. Thanks for the suggestions though. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Okay, I have two questions: a) does the effectiveness of Piercing Crystals increase with level like the Dispel Barrier? and b) is the magic barrier in the Grim Cavern dispellable using a Piercing Crystal? I've already tried 50 or so times so I'm thinking either no, or I need a higher level. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Play the original Exile, then check the "About Us" on the webpage. That should be enough info to say he got a divorce. Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Get the Identify mage spell too, it'll save you all the gold that gets stacked up from paying for identifications. Sure, it wastes a lot of food to cast it on your entire inventory, but the Manna spell makes up for the food and if you're REALLY tight for cash, the excessive time to cast it that many times wont be a problem. Well I had just heard one of those stupid rhymes going around about what the graduating class did... and I was trying to think of a name to use for Warcraft III because I was tired of using the gay "Bi11i3" thing. Being a loser, I decided to add Loser to the beginning of it. So here I am. -------------------- I'm baaaaaaaaack. Warcraft 3 |D\/\/|\|5 j()() Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

OOC: Well, im kinda new to rping but lets try it IC: Vincent thinks a moment then says to himself "What am I doing? This may not be my battle but I should still help out some." With that he crawls out from under the bed and begins chanting inane phrases... SIMULACRUM! As Vincent finishes the final syllable, a red portal opens in the room and the most unlikely of characters steps out from it: A young child. The child stretches his limbs the way someone would who has been in a coma for several days. When his arm stretches out to his right, his fingertips begin to glow lime green. He has a sheathe across his back little more than 2 feet long. His clothes are ragged, and he is barefoot. He seems to be hovering less than a centimeter above the floor, as if he is wearing shoes, but his feet don't even seem to have anything magical on or around them. His hair is short and unkept, some folicles standing on end with sparks shooting out from them. Finally done stretching, he cheerfully says, "Hi dad!" Vincent replies to his son, "Welcome back to the real world, Mick. How was your rest?" Mick scratches his nose and says "Well, I had a lot of time to think while floating around in the void of your soul crystal. I've invented a few spells that would be fun to use." As Vincent crawls back under the bed, he tells his son, "You might just have a chance to use them now. We have a bunch of demons outside that I would like you to deal with." Mick's eyes light up with excitement. "Oh boy! I get to try out my spells!" With that he walks out the door with the slow gait of his father. Vincent mutters to himself, "Kids these days... I just hope they dont unleash his true power." Posts: 111 | Registered: Monday, June 30 2003 07:00 |

Well if you are going to transfer the registered game you have to make sure you also include the registry files so that it would be considered registered... sorta like when you get exile on another computer and need it registered but lost your code... or if you get an older version of Exile because you just like the old graphic set :-D.
