It's one of those riddles. Perhaps it was a curse she knew to be unfixable. Perhaps this was one of the reasons she was so pissed.

Or perhaps she claimed to have given up, but the room behind her throne that you can never enter is actually the laboratory where she still kept trying, and trying, and trying, for the past few decades.

Depressing.

And no, I did not have a crush on Erika back when I played it. She's over a century old anyway. :P

quote:
In theory, she probably could've done it, but only on moonless nights, because moonlight is nothing more than reflected sunlight.
Technicalities don't mean much in fantasy worlds. Moonlight may only be reflected sunlight, but magic and curses usually consider it distinct - in the same way that Fire is an element.

Slarty: What has replaced the council in A4? Iron-fisted, centralized monarchy or even more autonomy for the individual cities?

University spam filters unfortunately aren't all they're cracked up to be. The one on mine does catch a lot of it, but by far not as much as the one on my Gmail account.

What have you got against Java? It may not be applicable for all needs, and it often uses more resources, but it's a great language otherwise.

Eclipse is itself a Java application, and you hardly even notice this while using it. :P

This is the SubTerra forum. Subterra is a game that allows custom levels with diverse, creative puzzles and funny, sometimes pun-heavy titles, in the vein of other games like Enigma.

Conclusion? Eye Queue is a Subterra level. It probably contains a tough riddle which is why its name is a pun on "IQ".

And no, I have no idea how it goes. Never played SubTerra.

Doesn't work like that. Slarty's member number is a tenth of mine, and I've still been here longer. Kelandon has a higher member number and a lower post count, and still I'd say he's more oldbie-ish than me. :P

My personal favorite development platform is Eclipse, which is primarily for Java, but has a C/C++ IDE extension as well. And apparently there is a version for Mac OS X. :)

Emails to spidweb@spiderwebsoftware.com are usually answered promptly - during business hours in Pacific Time, of course.

PMs probably won't work, and trying to get their attention on this forum even less so.

Well, it is said you should never blame malicious intent for what could be explained by incompetence - but really, I think whatever designed him did so intelligently and malevolently.

But passing oneself off as an expert to other Wikipedians? That takes some doing. :P

Oh, I almost forgot. There is an amazing irony in a Wiki being used to promote creationism on the basis that evolution lowers entropy (much like a self-organizing system like, say, a Wiki) and thus violates thermodynamics.

Of course, we all know that Wikipedia is not a closed system either, but is fueled by the sweat of countless Wikipedians.
