And, for anyone interested, here is the history of the first US Avatar Conflict in 2003. Someone posted a Fourth of July topic. (this one is less important, but it should still be included). David posted another such topic, this one being bound to ruffle more feathers because he mentioned the word "anti-american" at a time when the Iraq invasion was not yet four months old. And indeed, it became quite heated. It was possibly one of the key reasons for the the first US Conflict Avatars topic by Djur. That one was flooded by Motrax, resulting in a flame fest. It eventually got nuked from orbit by Schrodinger, resulting in TM posting "US Conflict Avatars continued". This topic also became fiery. Eventually, we all made up and ate cake together. The End.
