short party_size() - Returns the number of characters in the party.

Also a leading_char would be good, but that can be implemented with script, I'm just lazy. :P

I designed the foloowing item:

begindefineitem 445;

it_name = "Sword";
it_full_name = "Sword of Courage";
it_variety = 1; // 1-handed weapon.
it_damage_per_level = 12;
it_bonus = 5;
it_encumbrance = 1;
it_floor_which_sheet = 1037;
it_floor_which_icon = 2;
it_inventory_icon = 3;
it_ability_1 = 58; // Mental resistance, +5% / str
it_ability_str_1 = 3;
it_value = 2000;
it_weight = 100;
it_magic = 1;
I wanted to make it like a longsword with 5 bonus damage (like the magic longsword), but it ends up doing 6-72 damage.

May somebody tell me what I did wrong?

Need some ideas in Blades of Avernum

Guys I need some help. In the part of the scenario I am designing the party suddenly finds an abandoned magical laboratory, it's not a big one, so I would like to ask you what kind of hazards can the party find in this place? I'm running out of ideas.

I don't know if this helps, but the laboratory is divided in two halfs by a natural chasm with a river in the bottom.

PD: I would also like to place a Manticore in it, but there aren't any manticore graphics yet and I am very bad at making graphics. :(

No, it doesn't matter if it is corrupted before you send it. I send my own scenario to me and when I openned with the scenario editor it said "this is not a blades of exile scenario".

PD: BTW when I zip my scenario it size reduced from 313K to 7K O_O

Conflict with ZoneAlarm Pro? in Blades of Avernum

Just some minutes ago Nicothodes sent me an email containing the file of her experiment called experiment.bas.

When I tried to open it I saw it had the ZoneAlarm icon on it. ZoneAlarm Pro said that it may be harmful for my computer, knowing that it is a Blades of Avernum file I told the application to ignore the file, but when I tried to open it the file was corrupted.

Can this be a problem with the file or the whole .bas?

I want a character to use a wand just if his priest skill is more than 5 so what call should I use? I've been searching in the documents and all of them check just the party member with the highest skill. I might have missed the call, though.
