Yeah, that's what I don't get. It's not just this specific product...I mean you gotta think for every bad movie, bad product, bad name, bad anything...these people sit down and talk about it, put hundreds if not thousands of hours into production and not ONE person in the dozens (or hundreds in movies) of people ever say "Uh, hey guys, this really really sucks." The best example I got is that movie The Last Legion about the 'history of the sword in the stone' which they also call Excalibur...which were NOT the same sword. You'd think of the hundreds of people involved in the production of an Arthurian myth movie (even a bastardization of one) atleast ONE would KNOW THE BASIC STORY. -------------------- Since Imban Likes to Edit my Posts ... ... I would play Exile/Avernum if it was text based (I play a fair amount of text based games). Graphics mean nothing to a game. I think "it was unbalanced" is never an excuse, especially on a completely new engine... Adding more options to playstyle shouldn't be scrapped for the mentality that it's 'just easier to leave out.' I have some questions on the possible return of some features that were strangely lost in the transition from Exile to Avernum. Dual-weilding with the ambidextrous trait. This just seems silly not to have, so long as the two-handed weapons are kept equal or superior in strength to two one-handers. Gives more options for playstyle. Bashing weapons. I realize 'edged weapons' no longer exists either and all non-pole weapons were lumped into "Meele" but the total lack of maces and flails in Avernum confuses me. Especially with that stun mechanic in A4. Field style magic. BoA had this with wall of knives, but anti-magic field seems so essential for being able to take out enemy casters and conflag. was a great low level AOE DOT. Again, these are just more flavours to playstyle. Weapon poisons. I'm a broken record. More options! Makes a member of my party feel more like a thief besides pumping in tool skill. Someone sold their virginity on Ebay for over 2 Grand. That is by far the most famous of odd things sold on Ebay. EGM magazine sold a half-eaten sandwich for $40 for the Sept. 11th fund. Peices of the second Mars Pathfinder (The one that was lost) and also scraps of the spaceship that crashed not so long ago. A friend of mine buys used clothes in large quantity. During my lengthly boring summer I managed to not only grow a beard, but read the entire Redwall series. Again. I also just finished in the last few days the His Dark Materials series for the millionth time...I discussed it Saunders after and we are still confused about what exactly Mary did to be 'the tempter' For fans of the series, hear me now...answer my confusions: What happened to the Spy Fly? Why did Will not see his Daemon the moment he enter Lyra's world like his father? I regularly listen to a Radio Station called Gamesome Mac. I'm not a Mac user anymore, but it's still interesting stuff. Plus they do interviews with well known people, like Bill Roper. I am informed tonight at 9 PM (My time, West Coast of North America) there will be a live interview with Jeff Vogel about Geneforge 2. This won't be the first time he's been on the station. I invite you to listen, for he sounds like a 12 year old seething through a retainer. He laughs at all his own jokes which are far from funny, and over all presents a nerdly behavior that matches none other then Gimpy (for fans of the short lived Undergrads series). Yes...I ordered the Trilogy CD way back when, and then in the same phone call they gave me all the codes for all three games...I should have just canceled the order right then and there and ran away laughing.
