Drakel said MoM, which stands for: Master of Magic by SimTex. A fantastic game after it was patched, although small in scale compared to modern games. You can download it from: Home of the Underdogs . If are interested enough to look up that game, Master of Orion by SimTex is also worth investigating, also from Home of the Underdogs . I remember Oregon Trail, it was pretty easy to win. And you didn't have to take the river at the end. A lil' birdie told me that Civ2 and it's expansions were released free somewhere, maybe in a game mag. I prefer FreeCiv myself. EDIT: Dungeon Keeper is also on Home of the Underdogs. After I clicked the "Reply" button, I decided to not make a Butte hole joke. I don't understand the people who get trashed, it's so stupid/bad for you. Spring: "A lot of people drink at my age, though." Yeah, the legal age to buy alcohol here is 18, but the government is seriously considering raising it to 20. There is so much underage drinking and smoking, it's not funny. I don't smoke, I know plenty that do who are younger than me. I did a series of five IQ tests from a book on the subject, my average was about 112. I think this is a fair reflection: above average, but much more modest than some of the outrageous numbers other people claim. I don't think that an IQ test is very useful, for example: -the obvious one is there is no standard set, this speaks for itself; -also, there is no differentiating (sp?) my score with some other person at 112. While my number or puzzle scores might be above-average, I always get shocking scores when I have to play around with words - I have played Scrabble often with family and friends, and I have never done any better than last. Showing different scores for the different questions might make IQ tests useful, but right now most scores are completely meaningless. Every time this topic reappears, it gets shorter and shorter. You'd think people would catch on... My own opinion: I think it'd be great if someone developed the game beyond Jeff's ability via a license. The problem would perhaps be distortion of feel/atmosphere. I think if that happened, it would threaten to become a crappy hack n slash with spells. I would love it to become a massive immersive experience, the problem is how to make it so.
