“You are very beautiful,” sounds much better than “Wow, you look good!” You will likely get a more desirable reaction from the former than the latter.

Or you could just let the girl start it off. They're not exactly stupid when it comes to these matters.

True, but girls(not all of them) tend to wait for the guys to make the 1st move.

Actually, he was kinda cute.

Is that an oximoron? 'cute-carnie'

I still told him no. Previously committed, a minor, and well-aware of another... 'easy girl' he'd already had fun with. He might as well have asked me if I wanted a couple STD's.

Last time it happened was a little over two months ago (the Sanctuary thing), and before that, not for a loooooooong time, I think.

Funny. I've never seen Micael use the words "colour" or "honour" or "centre" or the like. Usually that's a dead giveaway.

EDIT: No, wait. I did, once, and I remember thinking, "Huh, that's weird."

Yes, Kel is very precise. I'm wrong a lot in life, even more so on here.

There are a lot of non-Americans on here. Like me. And Archmagi Micael, as has been said.

Maybe a poll would be able to show the ethnical diversity of the boards?

Pickup lines? Never used an overt one, as I just don't really have the personality to put them across effectively. I'm far too mellow and passive of a person in general to be convincingly bold and brash, I suppose.

In my dealings with the opposite sex I tend to play to my strengths. My smile is reputed to be rather sexy and my vocal delivery is a smooth bass, and both tend to serve me fairly well. I play it safe in terms of what I say, sticking to non-threatening comments and quips as opposed to the vulgarities I'll often indulge in when talking with pals.

By the way, I hail from Oak Park, Illinois and live a mere five minute walk away from the West Side of Chicago. The three biggest cities in the U.S., represented on a single page? Fantastic.

Been there, done that. There was one recently, however the name excapes me at the moment. It was about your geographical location, not the name.

In terms of factuality, tools rarely go awry.

It's just in matters of theory or practicality that being a stereotypical limo-lib with twice the snobbishness and half the wits tends to fall on his face.

(This ain't referring to Kel, either- I go to Upper Class White High at great economic cost, and I encounter tools on a regular basis. It's like reliving Attack of the Clones every day with even less inspiring dialogue proportionate to economic opulence.)
