I think absorbing the low level creations and LEARNING from the shaper on how to create high level creations would be the best route. But if you want a truly powerful creation. If you are playin geneforge 1, find a drayk canister, you need about 100 essence, and 5 to fire shaping. ( You can use this technique on almost any creation, but drayk is best) Then create the drayk as soon in the game that you can. Then, since you are a low level and he is a low level, you and him can level up. Once you reach the peak of your power, if you still have that drayk, he should be able to take out the main characters. But dont use him carelessly. I prefer the lifecrafter/shaper. Though weak in hand to hand combat, he can make a horde of creations that can take care of anything. Throughout the geneforges i have attempted to make the greatest shaper and creations. I have succeeded in geneforge 4 to make the most powerful creation ever seen. This idea is one i have pondered for a long time. Will the spawners move? will they be limited in power? I think that having a level all to ourselves would be sweet. In fact in geneforge 4 i have made shaper monarchs underground cave where he kept the titan my base. My stash is hidden there, and in the level above that one my creations patrol the tunnels. I dont know if this helps. But i made Drakons that are more powerful than an unbound. If you want to know how i can tell you. If your refering to the one below south forge in geneforge 4, then no. they always attack you. doesnt matter wether or not you are allied with the shapers or rebels you always get attacked by that camp. there are three shaper camps like that. be careful on entering them. two of them are very dangerous to beginners. i myself defeat them easily. There is a door in the room you battle salassar in in Quessa Uss. The door is to the Northeast. Normally i wouldnt pay attention except there is someone behind it.
