The benefit he gives to the others is greater than if he were a fighter alongside them, you don't need to carry loads of potions, you're not in deep trouble if you go too long without meeting a potion seller, etc, etc. I find the optimal party structure to be one fighter, one 'support' spellcaster to bless/haste him. EDIT: Bless/haste makes fights more than a bit easier. With it, I've beaten all sorts of monsters I had no business fighting with a level one party. EDIT: A scenario that requires an all-fighter party may be interesting, but for general use, a no-spellcaster group is only useful for giving yourself an interesting challenge. The problem is, your site doesn't do anything no other site does. The Louvre is the place for graphics, the Lyceum and Spiderweb for forums and articles, the Lyceum for a script database and scenario rankings, etc. I recommend either coming over and helping out at the Lyceum or finding something that no other site is doing that you can. :) -------------------- Rate my scenarios! Favorite Scenario in Blades of Avernum

But probably I'm just spoiled by years of fantastic BoE scenarios. I pick Small Rebellion, though I think the BoA version is quite inferior to the original. Most of the changes/additions hurt the scenario more than they helped it, and BoA just doesn't seem to be as suited to creating a good atmosphere. But it's still the best, through lack of serious competition. -------------------- Rate my scenarios!
