quote:Well, they're in G1 and G3. :P They play a major factor in G1 (Trajkov and his lot of Barzite-esque madmen), and you can talk to a Sholai emissary in Dhonal Keep in G3 who tells you about Trajkov. -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

Where there is subconscious, there is Freud. Where there is Freud, there is sexuality. I'm surprised it wasn't brought up earlier. Freud notwithstanding, this thread should try to stay away from such issues, inescapable though they are. Just be respectful, Alec. -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

Ah. I suspected it had to do with reputation. Fortunately, I can have Learned Darian fix that up for me. Thanks! :) -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

I have all the necessary ingredients (purified essence, black crystal powder, glaahk scale), but I can't find anyone to craft the item. The walkthrough said it was Lindian in the Marsh Crossroads, but he doesn't have any conversation options about it. Who makes it? Is there something special I need to do first? -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

quote:Crayons Can Melt on Us For All I Care: I just Wasted Ten seconds of Your life. Awesome lyrics. ;) Also, how about 4:33 by John Cage? You can play that with almost any number of people. :P -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

Yet, Excalibur's comment about the PETA has become at least somewhat relevant. :P -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

The human mind is nothing less than mind-boggling, I must say. ;) Hm... last time I heard this kind of discussion was in "Of Dreams" by Sigmund Freud. I find it very intriguing. And yes, I have had a lucid dream! It was a long time ago... I remember that I said to myself, "I don't like this dream" and then, as I paused the scene in my mind, opened my eyes. Very weird. -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

...And of course there's the Ultimate Shade, Danette herself. Danette's Belt gives +3 to Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Endurance. I'd say it's worth it. :D Oh, and Danette's room also has a canister each for Str, Dex, Int, and End, if I remember correctly. -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

1. What was the last song you listened to? Dead End Diaries, by Behind the Blindfold. 2. What was the last song / album you bought? Five Score and Seven Years Ago, by Relient K 3. What is your favorite song? Hm... maybe Your Guardian Angel, by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. 4. What is your favorite record album? Heck, I dunno. 5. What song do you think has the best music? Oh, lots of songs. How about Phantom Limb, by The Shins? 6. What song do you think has the best lyrics? Your Guardian Angel. 7. Who is your favorite composer? No idea. 8. Who is your favorite lyricist? Possibly Matt Thiessen of Relient K? 9. Who is your favorite performing artist? I haven't been to enough concerts to judge. 10. Is there any song that has ever just hit you like a brick? What was it, and why? Meant to Live (Switchfoot) hit me very much like a brick, except, unlike a brick, it is quite addictive. 11. What is that one song that you just can't stand? Violent Pornography, by System of a Down. Gross. 12. What artist do you absolutely hate? System of a Down. 13. If a group of SpiderWebbers got together to start a band, who would be in it, and what genre would they perform? Me on guitar, of course... I play many genres, so no idea on that part. This one really just depends on who's interested. Roman Empire... oh yes. It was also used to help clean their togas. Which had to be very white indeed. Julius: "Wow, nice robe. How did you get it so clean?" [strokes robe] "It's so soft." Gaius: "Thank you. I washed it in piss." Julius:  -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |

#7557... You like the name Gauldoth, right? I seem to remember the PDN "Gauldoth Half-Dead" about the time I joined. Hmm... Gauldoth the rotghroth. Let us assume this: Lepus timidus is a drakon. Now it all makes sense. :P Edit: I cringe at blanket statements like the one Retlaw May just made, even though I probably agree in this case... still, a revision would be nice. You can only purify Shaped armor, not blades. Purification does not alter the item in any way except to prepare it for conversion to an artifact. For adding damage... You might try War Blessing or Battle Pods, if you haven't already. That often makes all the difference (especially if you have a creation or two). Some other weapons to look forward to: Elemental blades (flaming sword, frozen blade, oozing blade) have greater base damage than the Shaped blade (and you can enchant them!), and for late game there are Puresteel weapons (Puresteel Blade, Puresteel Soulblade). Also, using a golden crystal on one of the elemental blades improves its elemental damage. For instance, the oozing blade would get a giant acid bonus. -------------------- "What direction, what direction now?" ---- My poetry Posts: 432 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2007 07:00 |
