Aside from the shock value, it is entirely harmless to drink one's own urine, and has been done as part of some therapies (of questionable value).

I hear it is not very tasty, however.

It was a sector of the Roman Empire, I'm fairly sure it was in Spain. One senator from the region was mocked for having very white teeth, as people new, the whiter the teeth...

Consuming the defecation and urination of humans is sometimes used as torture in certain countries.

You wash the piss out when you're done. With water. If you're wondering about skin effects of urine in the clothes, what do you think would be the effect of any kind of detergent if you failed to wash the clothes with water after cleaning them?
