There is unfortuantely not, and Kelandon, the author, says that he will not be making it, for a variety of reasons.

Unrelated question: Bahssikava is named in one of the Avernum games, isn't it?

Avernum 1 when it remade Exile 1 added that as an extra area.

Bahssikava and Exodus placed a tremendous demand on scripting. The process of making them consumed a lot of Kelandon's time. As said, there are also several other reasons for the lack of a sequel.

It's kind of a pity, though. They're good scenarios. We might see a sequel in the distant future.

Don't bet on it. If Kelandon was going start designing again, that'd probably be the one thing he wouldn't touch with a 50-foot pole. Seeing how Exodus was (undeservedly) panned by major portions of the Blades community, the last thing he'd want to do is invite open season on himself for a second time.

There was some conversation on the subject in the Blades chat last December; take a look (But watch out for vulgar language, as these things aren't moderated).

Damned shame, although maybe another designer will do a "fan" sequel sometime in the future. They were really enjoyable scenarios...

At some point, I suggested that I should make an Echoes scenario and TM should make a Slith Homeland scenario. I still think he should. :P

Awww. I really don't get why Exodus would be panned. My second fave (right after bahssikava!)
Oh,well. If Kelandon's still about, maybe he could post spoilers for what the sequel would have been?

Again, read the chat that I posted above. Near the end, there's some discussion on Homeland (what would have been #3).

I think this is a good idea, but only if the Rakshasi make a strong appearance.

Do you really think there could be a substantial TM scenario without the rakshasi featuring prominently in it?

Exodus on first play-through (god party) blew me away, it was the best thing since sliced bread, you just could not pull yourself away from the keyboard lest you miss what happens next.

On second playthrough things become slightly tirsome.

My 42 was my last. I'm serious!

I do want a sequal, but with more Bahz and less Exodus in it.

I don't think we should prod Kelandon into making a sequel, we're lucky he updates the library in the HLPM.

It is a pity. But I suppose the name "Homeland" carries too great a curse.

As much as I hate to admit it, you've got me puzzled. :P

Care to explain that statement?

Seriously, people. NTH has no Rakshasi, Corporeus has no Rakshasi, Echoes : Assault has no rakshasi...

The only two TM scenarios where the rakshasi really play a major role are Bandits 2, and arguably Echoes : Renegade (and even then, there aren't exactly many of them).

In Mad Ambition, Sabertooth is the only rakshasa that appears in the game.

You know, maybe Kelandon could redo Exodush. He could remove/fix things people didn't like. He is a great designer, after all. But that is all up to Kelandon.

If I could once and for all get rid of the two or three Unhandled Exceptions that semi-regularly occur, I'd be very happy. Unfortunately, this requires access to BoA-Windows, and I don't have that at the moment.

Rather strange that the same weird typo occurs twice in a month.

Ah Kel, I'm satisfied with what we currently have. You don't need update if you don't want to.
