What feature that the Avernum series lacked would you most like to see in BoA?

I know that BoA is nearly finished and this can't possibly affect the final game, but I just wanted to see what others thought about this.

Since none of the first options of the first question were good, I voted other.
Since I'd like to see all of the options of the second question being clickable, I voted for other.
And since I'd like to see a higher damage cap (no damage cap would suck. You could kill a dragon in one hit? Bad.), more skills and spells, I voted for other.

Summary: Other, Other, Other.

I'd like to see text responses like in E2, E3 and BoE. If you've ever played E3 in that spiral crypt on the Isle of Bigail then tried it in A3, then you'll find that instead of typing in the answer to the riddle you get it given to you as one of the default responses:
"1. I don't know
2. I think it's ...........
3. I think it's ..........."
which is pretty boring in comparison.

What I wanted was; 1.double strike from the Exile series. 2.what kind of field and draining spells, Drakefyre? 3.New spells, like a dumbfounding spell, and some kind of field spell that changes the battlefield from or to swamp.

Dual wield really shouldn't be in there, cause stuff does a lot more damage in all three of the Avernum games, especially A3.

I'd like the A1/A2 damage scheme back, since I never did hit the damage cap in those games, but barring that I'd settle for no cap. Then there would be monsters with thousands of hit points, but at least there would be a reason to take damaging weapons over pointed sticks with +1 Worthlessness

—Alorael, who also wouldn't mind seeing improved AI. Avernum's monsters all seem to be suicidally eager to charge you regardless of the efficacy of other attacks.

With the spells I think there should be a wound spell because it is suprisingly my favourite spell because it is so vertisle, it works on any enemy even if they are magic immune.

*Milla*'s idea of a "wound" like spell would be nice in a lot of ways. A "magicless" spell similar to Cloud of Blades but in target form would be very helpful for dealing with monsters that are magic immune when for some reason you are unable to cast CoB due to say vital NPC's around your target. Not to say that this is at all common, but in Blades of Avernum, nearly anything is possible.

I'm trying to remember if Exile allowed characters to choose where they could drop things or not. It would be nice if you chould choose where you drop your items rather than just having them all pile up at your feet. I also would like the ability to put things into containers. Then maybe you could create something like "recycling bin" where it gives you 1 coin for each pile of trash you put on the space.

Er....wasn't Beast Ceremony from Nethergate? Anyway, I reckon that Level 3 Haste and Radiant Shield in A3 does quite nicely.

Well, he already said he wouldn't do this, because it would require an extra click. However, someone suggested using something like the feature that lets you split up a stack of items by holding down a certain key to drop items on adjacent spaces. I would try to ask Jeff about it, but he ignores pretty much everyone on AIM except for the mods.
Actually, I might try e-mailing him.

I would like an extra slot for NPCs to join the party so I won't have to get rid one of my 4 main characters. Isn't this what was done in Nethergate? That way you could make certain quest that require to take an NPC somewhere or something along those lines.
