I meant it in the Palm Sunday thread. I am leaving now. I will not return. Good bye to you all. I can no longer take the hate the boards has. The ignorance is compound, the spammers are rampant. There is just too much for me to deal with any more.

I have checked the board dozens of times every day for the last year and a half. It will be hard, I will miss some of you, but in order to keep me from doing something really rash I must leave.
To Alorael, ADoS, Alec, Anti-Social Dragon, David, TM, Scorp, Drakey, TGM, Djur, Motrax, Imban, and those who have since disappeared since the fall of Misc, good bye.
You meant alot to me. I consider all of you friends. I can not deal with the boards now due to fundamental differances between myself and other members. That difference is the intense, overt, or unrealized bigotry against Catholics. I do not want to get into to an endless flame war. Thus I will leave.
I am also disappointed by the enlightenment shown by members, it is either ignorance or hate. I debate others. I disagree, but I know you are arguing for what you think is right, as am I. Do not let your sense of self-rightousness make you think that the other side is evil. I apologies if I ever made you fell this way in a debate, it was never intentioned. I know no one means ths, but the mean-spiritedness of such things poisons the soul of this board. As my karma falls lower and lower I know that I can not stay here. I wish you all luck.

Goodbye.

Oh thank you Micah, thank you! :P

And bye, I wish you luck too, although I know, and hope, that you'll return someday, like all who go do. If you don't, however, it was nice to, well, somewhat know you.

That sounded a hell of a lot like a suicide note, you just need to add, "It's better to burn out than fade away." (note to anyone who cares, the quote is from Kurt Cobain's suicide note, but he got it from a song.)

I'm sorry to see you go. I wish I'd got to know you, but it's probably too late now, unless you do decide to come back.

But whatever happens, have a good life.

I'm really sorry that these boards have offended you away. Farewell, and good luck. And Brenitt-Ihrno, that was a bit mean in my opinion. Ikari was sad about the insults on the boards, and you compare his post to a suicide note. I must admit, I agree with Ikari to some extent.

I do not wish to contribute to your departure. I respect faith deeply. Even though I do not respect the politics of churches, catholic or other.

Mother Theresa may have been one of the very few people who are able to transcend love and prayer from the personal to the transpersonal and live and feel and act from a transpersonal level only. Once that state is reached, all personal involvement vanishes.

But it is rare. Not being permitted to feel compassion on a personal level can be misunderstood as not being permitted to feel at all by sisters who are more earthly bound.

What to her very probably was all love on her level may have felt icy cold to such who could not reach through to where she was.

Transpersonal is not impersonal, but it is often seen as that.

Though suffering can motivate selfdevelopment and growth, I do not see it as a virtue in itself. With this I disagree.

I wish you would stay. I think you are needed.

Good Lord... don't leave, Micah. You're a good person, one of my favorites on Spiderweb actually. If you have to take a break for a while, go ahead, I totally understand... but please don't totally leave.

Um... and if you can't be convinced, then have a good life and whatever everyone else who is being nice said. And thanks for calling me a friend.

I don't know what to say.
Goodbye and godspeed, Micah. Sorry you felt unwelcome here. Desperance would welcome you as a guest of honor. Despite our greasy, suspiciously stained exterior, we're actually a very nice bunch of folks inside.

I'm glad to see that you felt the same way in debates as I did. No hard feelings if it got a little personal at spots, eh?
We'll miss you.

I'm going to echo Alec's comments, but as we all know, I'm a jackass on the inside. :P

No, seriously. You won't have to put up with that crap at Desperance.

Decisions that are made by you
But we are sick and tired of hearing your song,

'Cause if you really want to hear our views,
You haven't done nothin'.

Mister Djur, Ayn Rand is a perfectly respectable lady. ;)

Micah, please follow along with the rest of the deserters and come back in a while. Your presence here will be missed sorely. Remember those good ol' days with the webcam? *sniff*

I guess there's always AIM, but that just isn't as good as Spiderweb.

Hey, Ayn Rand represents many things that are good about America.

Like the opportunity a poor Russian immigrant has to succeed. And... nah.

See you at Desp, Micah.
