Second incarnation of the boards. We started on Ikonboard, but moved to UBB in September due to a variety of minor bugs (most of which UBB tends to exhibit) and also because Spidweb decided that although Ikonboard was free, it's protection against hacking was inferior. The first Spiderweb forums were established on March 23, 2001. Those would be the real good ol' days, although Spiderweb-related antiquity involves several communities that predate Spiderweb's boards. —Alorael, who actually thought that the BEEP appeared only a week or so after the forums were opened.
