Azuma -
At 6 feet tall, the average weight range would be 155 (very skinny) to 215 (upper level of fit). There is obviously a lot of wiggle room in there, but at least it moves you closer to a reasonable ratio.

That map option is a rather clever ploy to getting people to post...

The 50 lb character is a lich. Thus, mostly skeleton. Therefore, it's not that far-fetched.

Is Nalyd's fine? Underweight, yes, but that's part of his Undeath.

Okay, time to get to work. *cracks knuckles*

Azuma: The Jeran Character can't know that much magic. Seeing as he's a lich, I want him to be necromancy, and one other field. Everything but Holy Magic would make him insanely powerful. Also, up his weight. Liches take efforts to prevent themselves from rotting, so you'd more likely be close to the 100 area. Also, your bio seems to stereotypical adventurer-ish, and I don't like your magic divisions. Might I suggest reworking it as stamping out a theif from Bustoke trying to make a living?

Also, on an unrelated note, the things needed to heal the Vale are in the Northern Wastes. Mind if your place guards one of them? Same goes to you, Nalyd.

Not at all. Keep in mind, Nalyd is a moderately benevolent god, and pro-magic. On the map, The Chapel of the Fallen Might would be on the one of the small islands underneath the "h" in "Northern".

I don't find the weight odd, as I'm six feet tall and weigh one hundred twenty-eight pounds.

I assumed that the Infernal Maze would be full of muffins, but the presence of a lich makes it a lot more interesting. Since my character resides on the edge of the maze, I should have a lot of fun with this RP.

Does that apply to me?

No. However, how do you feel about the people swinging by your town on their way to the Northern Wastes and recruiting you, after, say, an attack by the Anama?

I intend for my character to make contact with the outside world because of conflicts with beings in the Infernal Maze. (Demon muffins maybe)

Not demon muffins, demons perhaps, with hordes of undead. And after rejecting the Anama, they certainly are going to pay you a visit. What's more, your conveniently the closest city to the Infernal Maze, making the city a likely destination for the searchers.

No. And did you just call yourself a demon?

Yes, Iffy is a demon. But demons aren't always bad.

I don't know what you're talking about, demons are the embodiment of evil. And yes, you can join, but please put some thought into your posts. And read up on what an RP is, as your question in the RP thread shows you have no prior experience...

Iffy was created through an experimental spell. He shares the characteristics of demons, but he isn't evil.

And since the gods are "banished", do I have to appear as someone else?

An RP allows for individuals to contribute to a storyline with their own creative and imaginative ideas. Bearing that in mind, the answer to your question is simply up to your imagination.

However, the RP has to follow the guidelines set by Goldenking's first post in the other thread.

Huh. Maybe my brain so utterly rejected the notion that someone would roleplay a categorically one-dimensional character that I missed that identity mark.

Well, good luck.

Edit - Letter adjustment

How is a lich categorically one-dimensional?

From AD&D Monster Manual (c) 1977:
A lich exists because of its own desires and the use of powerful and arcane magic. The lich passes from a state of humanity to a non-human, non-living existence through force of will. It retains this status by certain conjurations, enchantments, and a phylactery. A lich is most often encountered within its hidden chambers, this lair typically being in some wilderness area or vast underground labyrinth, and in any case both solidly constructed of stone and very dark. [...]
Liches were formerly ultra powerful magic-users or magic-user/clerics of not less than 18th level of magic-use. [...]The mere sight of a lich will cause any creature below 5th level to flee in panic from fear.

So, a lich stays in its lair (90%), in a remote location, and scares the bejesus out of most of humanity. Good luck with role-playing it. :P

Salmon, Salmon - this lich is different. Just like the legion of outcast Chaotic Good drow (a disproportionate number of whom wield two scimitars...) running around out there are different.

Excalibur, if you're 6' and 128 lbs., you have some filling out to do. The gym awaits! :)

A Google search of "munigant" led me to a Ray Bradbury forum. The word also looks like a twisted anagram of giant.

Goldenking, your map link in the other thread leads to the post reply interface.

A lich is a being that was once a human, usually a powerful necromancer of some sort, who extends his life after death by necromantic magic. He becomes a zombie of sorts, completly enslaved to himself. It's a pretty dark way of cheating death.
