Nice, it's always good to find someone who appreciates dissonance. If I recall correctly you are a fellow Cello player, although I haven't been playing much recently. At any rate I love the rustic tonalization. Could you give a little more information on the nature of the composition, I could pick out a cello with double stops, (or was it two cellos?) and a violin part as well as some percussion. Am I missing any parts? -------------------- "As our circle of knowledge expands, so does the circumference of darkness surrounding it." --Albert Einstein -------------------- Posts: 536 | Registered: Sunday, September 7 2003 07:00 |

Actually, it was synthesized. Some of it was Apple loops and some was me playing on the keyboard. -------------------- Do not underestimate the power of the mechanical pencil. Join the Dark side. Don't worry about it. I was complimenting her cello technique myself just before I saw it said synthesized in the description, and hastily edited it out. :) Nice job with your markup, by the way. Although proper XHTML would have been <feels emotion="dumb"></feels>. :P [ Thursday, May 03, 2007 20:46: Message edited by: Dr. Johann Georg Faust ] -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Oh Nico! Welcome back. So either one of the three diseases you mentioned is healed, or shouldn't we get too excited? The music sounds very nice. Did you compose it yourself, or did you only play it? I assume you also composed, but I'd like to be on the safe side. Garage Band's loops you say. yeah, I remember those. I tried the program myself, but didn't get very far, as I don't have a keyboard. I should maybe try to use the microphone option... Also, I think since there's already a speaker built into it, someone should design an optional internal power supply for street corner performances and power outages. I don't think you can download it. You just have to let it open in your browser. Very nice, Nico. [ Saturday, May 05, 2007 08:30: Message edited by: Andraste ] -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |
