I have a question for all of you. Even if it is just for my self. Why do you always come back here? I know I do, just to see whats going on.. Which is never that much. Posts: 57 | Registered: Monday, December 20 2004 08:00 |

Why do you always come back here? I know I do, just to see whats going on. Which is never that much. If so, then, well, I don't know. it needs a little tinekering I suppose... Hm... I don't know why this is titled 'Sulking', but oh well. I show up here because I design for BoA, and because it's a place that resonates with my personal style of insanity. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. You know, he's got a point. At a glance, this forum really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's just kind of a big steaming mass of primarily high school and college-age kids swapping inside jokes and being, well, intellectual. But there's a much deeper meaning to General. One might as well ask, "why is anyone anywhere?" Does one question why the place of the leopard is in the jungle? Does one question why DNA is in the human cell? The answer to these questions is simple and the same: because they blong. Because they have etched out a niche for themselves in a place that best supports the Great Spiderweb of life. Everyone here in General is united by a common search for understanding, bonded together in a great web of connections, if you will. Like the twisting caverns of Avernum, as we wend our weary ways through the dark and winding world, our paths intersect, for every tunnel is a part of the same vast network. The Message Boards stand as a spark of hope in the blackness or perhaps a junction of these paths, a momentary respite from the harsh realities of every day. We vent our sentiments, our fears, our humor, in a great explosion of emotions, drenched with the tears of adolescent incomprehension of why life must be the way it is. We have become brothers and sisters, retelling our lives in post after post in a great Plato-esque Forum of Thought, where ideas, beliefs and voices can run unrestrained. This is the backstreets of civilization, where we discuss without the confines of sanity, which we have left at the portal to the Great Board, every aspect of humanity. We are thinkers. We are seekers. But most of all, here, we are all dreamers. ... *snort* ...
