Drakey got in touch with me a while ago. He's a board administrator, has banned more spammers than Greenpeace has bacon burgers, and is a very accomplished gamer. Somehow, in considering all of this, I sorta figured he'd be a 35 year-old with his own apartment. But, lo and behold, he's a year or two older than me, and is going to my future college. Trippin' balls! Considering there's been so much suprise of late about everybody's ages, I propose that those of us who are willing post how old they really are. And no fooling; it would be hard to believe that Spiderweb Software could attract too many little 55 year-old ladies. On that note, I am seventeen years old, eighteen in April. I am old enough to... 1) Not be allowed to order off the kid's menu at Olive Garden. 2) Be too close to a senior citizen to buy a Happy Meal™ anymore. 3) Drive without my mom. 4) Watch rated 'R' movies. 5) Smoke. I am not yet old enough to... 1) Legally have sex with people older than me. 2) Purchase or perform in pornography. 3) Buy cigarettes. 4) Visit the marked-off section of the Wild Berry shop in town. 5) And more! I'm 19 and a few months. Which means I'm legally allowed to do pretty much anything I want. So long as it's not murder or those sort of things. That's a scary thought - I will be 21 next year. I'm 24, and old enough to garrote the lot of you. I think people usually feel they are between age ranges. At the moment I feel caught between young and old. 24 is young as far as I'm concerned, but I have a job and a career and all that stuff, and my friends have been getting married off. I'm 17, which means next year I'm considered an dult, and I can do about everything I want. Sounds fine to me. Wait, I just hear that everybody here is either older than I thought, or quite a bit younger. First Ephesos, saying he is eighteen. I thought he would be at least 24. Than came you, saying you are 18, then I hear drakefyre is... My head hurts. But somehow, I'm content that I'm not that young in comparison to you lot. Cheers! I am currently 16 years of age, with my next birthday in July. Apparently, that places me among the younger members, though not the youngest. I was 14 when I joined. That's a scary thought... Fifteen here, going on 16 in 40 days. I knew that a majority of members were younger than 21, but this is not quite what I expected. Just goes to show the effectiveness of online anonymity. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. I'm eighteen. Nineteen in April. It actually surprises me too, how young some of the people here are. Puts my knowledge and intelligence into perspective for me when people years younger than me know more about my major than I do. :P quote:Perfect example right there. EDIT: Oh by the way, Nioca. Nineteen. Dikiyoba gave up trying to guess ages a while back. It's easier just to know that everyone is between 0 and 120 years of age. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

I'm 45 and old enough to remember when they only place to play computer games was on a mainframe computer. Oh, and the games were text only. You kids have it so easy. No more having to hide from university computer admins when playing games. Swapping out game and data floppy disks while playing (only 360 kB). 16 color graphics and you better like it. If you want an idea of what it was like go download Adventure. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I am roughly 19.5 years old. More exact figures, to the day, can be found on my endeavor profile (and that of anyone else who has their birthday entered). Except for an error of roughly 0.064% plus, owing to improper leapyear calculation. Being young is by no means a bad thing, nor is it an indicator of intelligence or knowledge. Well, if you were 1, I suppose it would be pretty obvious how intelligent you were, but that's the exception, not the rule. Enjoy it while it lasts. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |
