Been awhile since we had one of these. I was bored and haven't posted for awhile so I thought I'd put one of my pointless and usually stupid ideas to use by resurfacing a long dormant subject: our desktops. Actually, my desktop can be seen here. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/deadgeneral/Desktop.jpg I use dual monitors, hence the reason for the double view. Post your desktops! -------------------- I am a silly, silly fool. Posts: 489 | Registered: Friday, December 20 2002 08:00 |

Here's the Windows desktop from my laptop: Edit: Very few icons, I know. I like a simple, uncluttered desktop. All my shortcuts are neatly organized in the Start Menu where they belong. Am I the only who finds it odd that the only people who have posted on this thread are Windows users. I know that this community is rife with Mac users. Don't Macs have a Print Screen key? -------------------- "You're drinking liquor because you're thirsty? I use animated desktops from http://www.dissoluteproductions.com. The backgrounds are made in flash and requires Macromedia Shockwave/Flash plug-in version 6 or later. I like the "3D" caterpillar (maggot). :) Posts: 437 | Registered: Friday, May 13 2005 07:00 |

... They're illegal. (Also, I didn't see any cracking going on on Dallerdin's desktop. Unless you count what could be ripped CDs of Final Fantasy...) However, I would dearly like to know what conspiracy plan he is laying out in MSWord. (Click to enlarge) Might have overdone it with the censoring there, but I like to keep things private. Ack! This page makes my internet connection die. Literally. So, on with This Post (v3): I'm linking because, well, I am. And what's the deal with all these XP users? I still use '98. And AOL v7... I don't see th point in updating it if it works. And this wallpaper isn't my usual one. It changes every day, and today's is this. I remember Dial-Up. And just when I had managed to get the memory of it out of my system, I went to DR and was stuck with it. I use XP, mainly because it was the one that my pc brought. And why Install a new one if this one works just fine? Besides, I like the graphics better Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

The background changes every half hour, and looks better when it's not converted to jpeg. My desktop. Ovbiously it looks grainy for the sake of making is a .gif and keeping sanity. That is a good picture, and it makes a dark background, at least where my icons are. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
