Does that make you pundead?

...if I ever have a valentine on an internet message board -- let alone this cuckoo one -- please, for the love of god, kill me.

There are forms. Ones that need to be filled in in triplicate. And signed by a Administrator.

Of course, members with, *ahem*, "connections" need not do this. And of course, you could always kill him illegally.

There will be no killing in this thread.
There may be metaphorical character assassination through Custom Title abuse. I haven't noticed anyone compelling for the last couple of days. The SICTG™ is getting restless. God knows what it might do next.

How cute is that? Although, he did steal the idea from Thuryl (*sigh, Thuryl*). It is still very lovely, Starty you're a lucky guy

Careful, Marlenny, you'll induce Thurly into buying a plane ticket to NYC for a very long and exhausting flight only to find he can't land in a foot of snow when he gets there.

I don't think I've ever had occasion to refuse a valentine before. However, I've also never been given one as a means to facilitate my murder, over the internet, by someone who may or may not be a 54- or 56-year-old asexual Korean transvestite businessman.

No, Alorael, I won't be your valentine. (And nobody else's either, so don't ask. Slarty's living up the single life these days.)

No comments since it's between me and Thuryl. However, I should make clear that it was not a foot of snow, but 26 inches. It broke the record in NYC, possibly NYS, and I loved it. I mean, after getting less than 2 hours of sleep (you know why baby ;) ) I get up all grumpy and tired to find out that the school was closed down for the day and that I get to sleep in ALL day. I love snow, I LOVE snow.

He's also sweaty and violates himself with beef. Or so I've heard.

Lucky. Snow in St. Louis? Yeah, right... it's supposed to hit 60 by Thursday.

Wait, I just looked at that quote again...

All I can say is, we really don't need to know that. And I think we'd be better off not knowing.

The transvetitism is a new addition, I think, and the asexuality flies in the face of accepted canon.

—Alorael, who would it to be known that he is not particularly sweaty, either. You may make comments about loaded responses as you wish.

I think it's fair to point out that the "you" in Marlenny's sentence has no obvious referent or antecedent.

One might paraphrase by saying that they know who need to know.

As Kel has so thoughtfully made clear to me via IM today, he thinks I am an idiot, because he disagrees with me and my logic on nearly everything. Apart from the curious logic of that kind of absolutist thinking aside, it was not enjoyable to learn what lurks behind feigned politeness maintained for months. I'm pretty pissed off about imagining I had something of a friend in Kel who was pretty much the first person I talked with when I came here last year.

So, let's just make this public and assume Kel thinks I'm an illogical idiot whenever I post anything, and that can spare him the bother of posing snipey and passive/aggressive remarks in response to mine. I'll offer the same courtesy of ignoring his posts.

It is always a pity to see two so reasonable and intelligent members of these forums fall out with one another.

There are already enough conflicts that involve one or more parties who can safely described as stupid.

Sigh.

What I was trying to do was tell Synergy that I had nothing personally against him, despite the fact that I had been disagreeing with him quite a bit recently. What I ended up doing, after that, was telling him that I thought that a bunch of what he had just said was idiotic, and then he unzipped his pants, pulled out some New Age buzzwords, and started waving them around. I just couldn't handle it.

Synergy, I'm tempted to try to write an explanation and justification of what I said online, but I don't think that it would help the situation. Suffice it to say that I hope you can still remember the beginning of that conversation and recognize that the beginning was the part in which I said what I actually wanted to say, and also I apologize for the last part of the conversation on the condition that you bear in mind that you have completely false conceptions of who I am and what I think.

I think it's safe to say that (despite the full frontal powwow they had) Synergy and Kelandon are two extremely different people who tend to approach things from very different angles. That Synergy can come off as sacharrine and "New Age" and Kelandon can come off as cold and hostile probably shouldn't be a surprise to either of them. Of course, neither one is actually hostile or an idiot, as far as I can tell. They just disagree about many things. Sound fair?

At this point, I would like to offer the unhelpful comment that it is possible to think someone is stupid and still like them.
