For some reason, and for as long as I can remember, I occasionally think about this picture, or something like it, and everybody I've shown it to says it looks really familiar. The problem is, nobody knows WHAT it is. Does anyone here know? -------------------- Fo shizzle, my lord. Two goldfish are in a tank. One says to the other, "Do you know how to drive this thing?" Simply because I just got down playing it, it looks like a letter in the Daedric writing in the game Morrowind. Maybe it's one of those abstract drawings the use to test a person's mental state. EDIT: e.g. What does this look like to you? It actually doesn't look familiar to me at all, but the closest thing I can come up with is the stylized "f" symbol on Macs, often used to abbreviate "folder". Edit: *Looks at ink blot* Ripped parchment! Alien cocoon-butterfly-woman! Zork! David Gonterman! An android letting off a huge burst of energy! That enemy from Castlevania, possibly one of the Death incarnations! It's Arctic's version of marking his territory, of course. —Alorael, who has no idea what the original symbol looks like. It doesn't remind him of anything, even Nike. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

F is for Fusionics. Well my brother wishes it was. He would get more sales that way. Two Halloween witches holding something. For the F-thing, this is the first time I've seen it, but the more I look at it, it's like I've seen it before but it's too vague to figure out. -------------------- You go girl! For those interested, the inkblot is an all-black copy of one of the ten slides in the Rorschach test, a tool phychologists use to determine a person's emotional state. They are all designed to be interpreted as different things by different people. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

If it helps, I keep on imagining the picture done in black ink, maybe a tiny bit dark green, on whitish parchment. Kind of like a Sumi drawing. And try to imagine the shape in gray alone, without the funky little background patch. That's just in there to make it more visually interesting. I think there's some painting of the Grail that looks like this... -------------------- Fo shizzle, my lord. Two goldfish are in a tank. One says to the other, "Do you know how to drive this thing?" The first picture looks like the Quake (the videogame) logo, rotated a bit. The inkblot looks alot like a foxhead to me, so much so that I just thought someone posted a digital picture of a foxhead (before I read the abstract comment) from the days of NES console gaming. I just came from the Hippy Vegetarian/Barbaric Meateater thread. My head hurts. It looks like it might be a variation of the twisted cross basically a full size cross with bars at the end of it symbol of the Christian germans inside the third reich. A kind of cross Swastika. Not sure though. -------------------- Wasting your time and mine looking for a good laugh. Star Bright, Star Light, Oh I Wish I May, I Wish Might, Wish For One Star Tonight. seeing as how psycholigistic-types use them every day, I don't see how. What may be secret is the interpretation. 1st symbol. reminiscent of an airline or airport for some reason. of course also the Greek goddess of victory. (he's really a psychologistic type, that Robin) 2nd symbol: two pig bats carrying a demon. or doing *something* to a *something* or one of the exits in lemmings. This post paid for by the campaign to elect *edit*. [ Sunday, September 12, 2004 19:50: Message edited by: Dgjzxachk ] -------------------- Tip of the Day: #15 Wash your hands!! That's skrange. I think that one only sees what he or she brings to the picture. quote:Not only who you are, but also under what circumstances you live in the moment you look at this ink blot. I made the experience, that I see different things in these Rorschach tests in different phases of my life. And the answer is not every time usable for psychology!
