BBQ goes good with something called: Barbeque.
It goes well with some other stuff, but definetly not with eggs.

Tobasco sauce - too spicy for eggs.

Eggs - go good with salt. Mayo if hardboiled; maybe some horseradish sauce...

...but not BBQ sauce.

(More recipes coming...)

I like my omelets with swiss cheese and mushrooms. I've never been fond of green onions in omelets.

I've had pizza with BBQ sauce on it before. It's not as bad as you'd think.

Y'know, Thuryl is right. BBQ sauce and pizza... they just go together! Has anyone ever been to a California Pizza Kitchen and gotten their BBQ Chicken pizza? If not, you are missing out on some of the best pizzas ever made! And if you think tobasco sause is actually that spicy... then I laugh at you, right here! Hahahaha! And if your stomach turns at the mention of BBQ sauce in scrambled eggs...
Has anyone else ever had alligator sushi? Or any kind of sushi, for that matter? (vegitable sushi only doesnt count) My favorate kinds are tuna (uncooked) and spicy shrimp (shrimp in sushi is always cooked) Go to your local Harris Teeter for more great sushi options! (participation varies)

Alligator wouldn't really be sushi, per se. It's reptile, not fish.

In any case, I prefer sashimi.

Too true, too true! Alligator isnt true sushi, but its good nonetheless when wrapped in rice and seaweed. Have you had softshell crab sushi? (dont tell me, its a crab, not a fish)
It kinda resembles a spider. (oooh, i could be on Survivor...) Do they have Krispy Kreme in Seattle? Or on the west coast, for that matter. If you have never had a KK doughnut, you are not living like an American, I'm sorry. They are headquartered in Winston Salem, NC, BTW!

They do have one on the west coast. In WA, too. But its quite unhealthy to have one of those fatening donuts. Oh well, might as well go get one...

This is 250! I am now considered to be adept. Ignore my title.

Sushi and sashimi don't have to be made with fish. You can even use raw chicken if you're sufficiently insane.

Or cat.

And yes, I've had soft-shell crab. The last ssashimi I had was coho salmon. Yes, yes, endangered, yes, also extremely delicious. It was hatchery-bred, anyway.

I've tried several kinds of sushi... eel was one, I think, and squid... I thought it was nasty, but whatever. I've never tried any kind of spicy sauce on pizza... all you need is pepperoni or sausage. Actually, what do you all think of Hawaiian pizza? I've never tried it, but I hear it's good...

Apollyon - Krispy Kreme is everywhere. I've never had one. I figure that if I'm not going to get any exercise, I should at least eat well...

My ideal pizza is a nice big stuffed spinach, with plenty of cheese, spinach, and a tangy sauce (anyone here ever eaten at a place called Giordano's?). And I always lightly sprinkle oregano and crushed red peppers on my pizza.

Spinach pie isn't awful.
Of course, it's not nearly as good as a raw steak, covered in blood. ^___^

Oh yeah, and who here has had maple sugar candy thingies before?

Stuffed pizza? Eww. I'm strictly a thin crust man.

As for Hawaiian, it's okay, but only if they actually cook the pineapple with the rest of the pizza. Some places put it on after it's cooked, and fresh pineapple on a savoury dish is kinda icky.

I'm a vegetarian when it comes to sushi. I've eaten several sushis with raw fish, and I just don't like it as much as a good cucumber.

—Alorael, who isn't much of a pizza man at all. If he were going to eat one, it would be covered with veggies. If it has to be a pizza, at least it can masquerade as an odd salad...

How can any one eat eggs? They're so gross. And Spinach on pizza? That's just wrong. Same with sushi. But everyone can have thier own oppinion. Here's my recipe for rice. which, in my oppinion, is the greatest thing ever.

Rice:

1. Put rice in pan.
2. Cover with water.
3. Place on high heat for 7 minutes.
4. After 7 minutes, put on low heat for 20 minutes.
5. Eat- soy sauce opptional.

Stuffed spinach pizza is delicious, and quite popular, I might add. Thin crust pizza is fine, but I don't think much of anything can stand up to stuffed. As for sushi, I find the concept to be rather nauseating and have never tried the stuff, but several people I know, including a close friend, swear that it's amazing. To each his own, I suppose.

EDIT: And Andraste, rice by itself or with soy sauce ( ) isn't much good at all. You need to eat rice with something spicy and substantial, like Indian samber or rasam. Only Indians know how to do rice right. :D

I agree with Thuryl on this one. Thin crust is definitely better than stuffed, especially if the stuffing is spinach. If it's going to be stuffed with anything, it should be bread. And I definitely prefer meat to vegetables on my pizza. I find steak disgusting though, unless it's brown; red, pink, any kind of uncooked bloody steak type thing is just really unappealing.

Ah, but you're from New York, I believe, and Thuryl is an Aussie. You people need to come to Chicago and try some real stuffed pizza!

I agree, though, that spinach wouldn't work out so well on a thin-crust pizza. For a thin-crust, my favorite toppings are mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, and onions.

EDIT: And RC, sweet-and-sour sauce is truly repulsive stuff, in my opinion. I can't imagine how anyone could enjoy it on anything.

I love plain rice. And the Chinese have equal, if not greater, ability in rice cooking. =)
