Well, it's the worst thing Alcritas ever made, not the worst thing ever made. Big difference there. :P Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

quote:Kalloskagathos is probably the worst thing Alcritas ever made, but it is a quite interesting, if inevitably useless, idea. Basically, the problem with a scenario like that is that your players typically only play it once, so it basically just defeats walkthroughs. Keep - switching guns based on your opponent has never been an Arena thing, basically - you'll probably be able to buy scripts that have you cause effects on yourself, but you likely won't be able to choose them before each battle a monster's in. Morgan is a he. Anyway, I think Dolney's talking about a UBB bug which may or may not be in our current version which allows you to read thread titles in private boards. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Well, the idea that Drakey and I had (regarding scripts) pretty much is in line with *i's - if you want a non-default script, there will several available for purchase at the cost of points. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

It fouls your computer with popups, bringing IE and then Windows to its knees momentarily. WinXP machines can survive it easily, though. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

It will be a community thing wherein players of BoA design monsters according to rulesets which change every season. These monsters fight each other, under computer control, in a tournament setting, known as the Arena. There's also going to be an associated RP. (It's going to be more or less modeled off of the Blades of Exile Arena, which, while drawing to a close, has been around for many years now.) I hate Macs for many reasons, most of which can be summed up in "not enough games". I know that there are a lot of good cross-platform games, and that quite a few of the games that I like are cross-platform, but still, there have been several really stupid corporate decisions (such as not releasing BG2 : Throne of Bhaal for Macs, as far as I know) that shafted Mac gamers hard. Since you don't have the A3 disc, just re-download the demo and ask Jeff for a new registration code. If you provide your name and address and it's in his database (which it would be if you registered), he'll send you another code. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

You called? EDIT : Sir David is correct, and I'm not jesting. This is much more to Reality Corp than VWM, though. If you're going to be a saggot, at least be humourous about it?
