Nephils vs Sliths lasted for many, many topics. Anyone who posts an argument here for either side will feel the wrath of the god of dead topics. -------------------- Grammar wenches beware: This is the house that the malt that the rat that the cat that the dog that the cow that the maiden that the man that the priest that the cock that the farmer kept waked married kissed milked tossed worried killed ate lay in. Hoy, hoy. Nephils vs Sliths reached 30 pages, then 12, then 7, then 5, and then 2 (the last one was, granted, almost entirely comosed of posts saying 'oh noes not this again' and was locked quite quickly.) That makes 56, although that was from memory, so I may be out by a bit. Over 50 is a fairly safe bet, anyway. Join Us was 25, then 20 twice, then 8. That's 73. Spiderprise was 20 twice, then 12. That's 52, if you weren't paying attention. In other words, you have a way to go. Oh, and Connections beats them all. From any given offshoot. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Nephils vs. Sliths? Worthless. Neither could hope to stand up to an army of true attack ferrets. -------------------- "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain- at least in a poor country like Russia- and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. That one looks pretty tired... The Spiderprise topic would've lasted longer, if it weren't for the unfortunate death (sort of) of m - never mind, won't mention that here, I can sense way too much nostalgia in the near future anyway. Good luck, ørangutan. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon TEH CONSPIRACY IZ ALL Les forum de la chance. Around that-Saunders was locking topics with 20 pages at that stage, and I remember it reached its third iteration. Of course, the third topic was almost entirely about Zephyr and his cult... -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Back in the bad old days. Zephyr's RPing then...was about as much worse than his current RPing, as that is than, say, premonition's. His first five or six characters all had small armies attached, despite the fact that no-one else had thought that necessary. And his actual character was, IIRC, immortal. Lone Flame, however, was worse. By about the same margin. -E- -------------------- Let them eat cake! Polaris Boards: The System is Up. Perennially. Don't forget that when I first came here, I was just as bad as Zephyr. I helped kill one good RP and almost killed another.
