That's what I was going to say...

Um, Reality Corp., if we don't click that, how do we know what it is?

Also, Imby, thanks for locking those two art topics in such a skillful way. I would've done that, but I... uh... lost my mod powers... and now I can't find them...

My original name, Enraged Slith, was the one I used on the old forums. Basicly I was into Slithzerikai at the time, so I stuck an Enraged infront of it and there we have it. Recently I have been changing the adjective around because I felt like it. And theres nothing you fooking guys can do about it! :P

SD, what I meant was for those people that already had an encounter with that site, don't click on it again to go there. You can always check where it goes in the status bar, viewing the source code for the page, or right click and check properties. This is for those who are using IE, because it's most annoying to them.

What does it do?

It fouls your computer with popups, bringing IE and then Windows to its knees momentarily.

WinXP machines can survive it easily, though.

Camino would be unaffected, but, unfortunately, I'm not using Camino. Does anyone know enough about it to help me figure out what's wrong?

Members cannot delete their own topics, and mods very rarely choose to completely delete topics here.

Your name has one too many R's in it.

We're all amazed but not amused
By all the things that you said you'd do.
You're much concerned but not involved by
Decisions that are made by you
But we are sick and tired of hearing your song,
Telling us how you are going to change right from wrong,
'Cause if you really want to hear our views,
You haven't done nothin'.

My Opera browser would be equally unaffected, though, since I completely disable popups. It's a beautiful, nearly spamfree life... :D (only leads to trouble when taking Spidweb polls or previewing your post here, since that opens a popup).

Are you referring to the Madman destorys Computers link, 'cause that had me laughing for an hour, despite nearly crashing my computer.

Camino disables unwanted popups - if you click on something specifically to get a popup, there is no problem. When Camino is working, that is...

For all who are using Internet Explorer, you can also download a special program here that will automatically block pop-ups. So if you ever get in a situation like that, you will be in control!

I have actually never understood why one cannot delete one's own topic. I, at least, have several times wished I could delete my own (mostly directly after posting them...) since they contain nothing but spam, flaming etc.

But that doesn't make sense. I mean, I could just edit it, could I not? It wouldn't look as good as if I deleted it but the result would be the same. Or would it not?

Well, for instance, if you start an RP and then decide, later, that you don't like it, deleting it would probably annoy every other member of the RP. Whereas if you just edit your own posts, everybody else can still continue.

If you post a topic and immediately rethink it and edit it out, you can rest assured that a mod will shortly lock or delete it.

You could also edit something else in. I heard Alorael say a large picture of a mango will do the trick. :P
