Most stupid thing you can think of. in General

While the other topic I can see surviving, I predict that this one won't last much longer. However, because it's generally frowned upon to post 'IBTL' or 'In Before The Lock', I'll post this instead:

In Before The IMAGE(http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubb/lock.gif).

Nothing, really. There are things that I dislike, but none that I really hate.

The biggest thing I dislike are spammers. wawa comes to mind, specifically.

What is Vampiric Touch? in Geneforge 4: Rebellion

It allows you to draw health to heal yourself from a foe when you hit it with a melee attack. The more Vampiric Touch stuff you're wearing/wielding, the greater the effect.

OS isn't really a problem. All games made by Spiderweb can be run on either Mac or PC. As for games, see Infernal Flamming Muffin's post.

I think I might have discovered a slight flaw in your theory SaraWorfphilia. Specifically, me. If the 1500 rule was true, I would be well on my way to being an oldbie by now.

Submission Bolt - Fires a bolt of energy at a foe, which damages and stuns. (Think Submission Baton)

Disruption - Disrupts a single creation, causing incredible amounts of damage. Useless against non-creation opponents.

Shockwave - Does heavy damage to all nearby enemies and surrounds them with a Lightning Aura.

Incapacitate - Slows, Curses, Weakens, and Dazes a single opponent. Does no damage.

Mass Regeneration - Like Regeneration, but affects all nearby allies.

Essence Shroud - Hides a single target, boosting stealth and making it much harder to be hit.

I'm still wondering who voted for me (besides Tullegolar). Though I suppose my post count gives a false sense of oldbie-ness, since +1500 posts doesn't exactly scream 5 months old.

You have to find the one image that is vulnerable to damage, and try to kill it. If it stops at 1 HP, find another image that is vulnerable an try to kill that one. Repeat this until you find the true image and kill it.

I disagree. I've found shock tactics very affective as a Lifecrafter. Of course, I'm still in Illya Province. But a Charged Vlish really helped me with Krazo.

Oh, and a random fun tidbit:

EDIT: Odd. It seems to be growing.

Happy 22nd Birthday! Sadly, I am fresh out of cake. You'll just have to make due with ice cream instead.

False. Virtual Memory is used well before you run out of RAM. In fact, most programs will use Virtual Memory alongside RAM so the actual RAM doesn't get burned through with a single application.

So having more virtual memory shouldn't cause any slowdowns
Virtual Memory essentially consists of one large file being used as a storage program. The slowdown with more Virtual Memory comes in because:
A) The computer has to sift through a larger pagefile to locate the data it's trying to find.
B) The computer has to rewrite the pagefile when it deposits new data or gets rid of old or unneeded data.

Fortunately, you can usually set the pagefile so that it starts out small, but will expand as needed. Sort of like a sponge.

Windows is pretty much the same way, only there are certain processes it won't even let you touch.

EDIT: Pared down on the quote pyramid.
