It was a dark night and Eralzin traveled in the direction of the two powerful vampires under the guise of a traveler he killed on the road. He also sensed the presnces of the gods but he was confident he could avoid him. Geltor contacted him useing his god powers that he sensed a vampire the one that wasn't a god, had taken control of one. His orders where to gain the spell from him, kill him, then see about ally him with the god under his control and the vampires rival. He worried about the gods beating him too it though. If he could align him self with the god vampire and kill the other he stand a chance agianst the other gods there.

Eralzin heard a noise and all of a sudden he was ambushed by a vampire who mistaked him for a travler. The vampire being a minor one was no match for him. He changed to his demon form and grabed his throat and tossed him to the ground and then thrust his sharp claws into the vampire draining it of its life force and its memories. The vampire starved too death something that happend in seconds that should have taken weeks or even months. He gained several vauable things from the encounter first was the names of the two vampires, second the location of the mortal one, and third was the name of the god under its control. He immieditanly took the guise of the vampire, since he could only take the guise of the last thing he killed, next he reported this information to Geltor useing magic, and then rushed off in the direction of Mervingorix.

Drigy arrives at the city of Nerototh. He dreadfully thin. His dark tatter cloak draws supuscion and catchs the notice of the city guard at the gates. He couls sense the strong magic of the mages. Fortunaly he hasn't yet sensed the taint of the demons. (under his breath) Drigy "It might not be too late"

City guard "You their state your name and business."

Drigy "I'm Drigy I bring grave news; a hoard of demons under the command of the god Geltor. Take me to who ever is in charge and I will tell you everything I know."

City guard "Thats quite a story you have. You bring some proof I assume."

Drigy "I do" Drigy takes off his cloak, turns around, and lifts up the back of us shirt exposing huge claws marks. Had the demons arm had been slightly longer he would have ben cut to bits.

City Guard "I'll take you to my commander he is a battle mage he should know what to do with you"

The city guard then calls out for one of his commrades who then escorts him to the barracks.

K seems like everyone want me to go with option two. so thats what I'll do. I guess I'll make powerful npc god to oppose me (and support the nation I created) who will be destoyed but at great cost. I don't mind loseing most of my demons. However I wan't to keep some of my minions, about 30 somewhat powerful demons. That means I will need to put Drigy to good use at warning.

That could be intresting

I may be the bad guy the question is am I the only bad guy. Mabey its a bit early but I like to see the sides drawn. I like to see who else is evil.

P.S. The person who is controling the vampires your welcome to do with demon ambassador as you please as long as he gets a chance to offer the allegiance of the demon race.

I agree demons are normaly a bit of a loose cannon.
2 reason why they are untited for now.
1 One of Geltor's god powers is the absoulte loyalty of the demons
2 Their desire for revenge against the gods is for now overpowering their selfishness.

I willing make the orders to seek allaigge a bit vage something along the lines "I sense a power group of vampire in such such direction a bit more vague go find them and ally your self with them"

I do understand that my character might be a bit powerful. I have two propasals:

1 I have Geltor bid his time makeing allainces, ploting, minor engaments, slowing gain power, ect until the good guys are strong enough to put up a good fight.

2 I or someone else make an npc both capable and willing to oppose me and I defeat him at great cost but am severly weaken and more managable for every one else.

One last thing to help prevent one person from overpowering themselfs shouldn't we document the powers and followers(and their power) of all the gods to prevent this?

"though powerful, can't be omnipotent, omniscient, or omnipresent" and "Players giving their gods too much power are also a concern; however, it will also be easier to solve these problems In Character." is all I found on how much power I can give to my character and for someone whos new to RPs thats bit vague. If the group thinks I'm not following the rules then prehaps someone be willing to explain to me what I'm doing wrong. I was under the impressions that we were allowed to give gods the power to raze cities and nations to the ground and have thousands of followers. Was that impression wrong?

Well them fighting on mutiple fronts weakens me. Second my demons have been starveing death in a prision for thousands of years their not a full power they have to feed. Sure they can pusth themselves for a breif engament but their not yet fit for an extend engament. As far as the intellgence He devored more then the elders body. I have yet to revealed the demons set of strengths, powers, or weakness.

edit: Heltoson tribe isn't as a large. I never said all the tribes where the same size. Geltor was capable of contacting the dark mages. Just because he can't come to the realm doesn't mean he doesn't have the power to observe things in the realm.

I'm trying too. Which is part of the reason why I stick too the outskirts of the story. I do see your point and if someone wants to work with my character I be willing too.

Geltor had summoned 3 demon lords and a high ranking demon assassin to the middle of the demon camp. Geltor “Harzite (demon lord of Golzite tribe) you are to take 1/3 of your tribe (2000 demons) and harass the borders of the Kalazar Empire and the border of its neighbors to provoke them to go to war with each other. Sentia (assassin demon) you are to take 20 assassin demons to Nerototh where kill their leaders and take their forms. Once you have seized control of the kingdom of Trantite have them research a spells that can be used towards locating, killing, or capturing of a god. Eralzin (demon lord) I have sensed two powerful vampires, one might even be a god, to the east go find them and offer our allegiance with the most powerful of the two. Heltoson (demon lord) you are to take you your tribe and destroy the kingdom of Keldagrim.” After the demons have been given their orders, the rushed off to carry out their orders at inhuman speed. As god of the demons no demon could refuse his order or work to betray him something that was a constant struggle when he was only a king. Another advantage was that unlike his assassins who could only take the form of the last thing they killed. He could take any form he wants. Geltor then took his army and marched towards the Kana, capital of Kanatar, (one of Kalazar’s many rivals). Normally this would be a 3 week travel for a human army but he and his demons would make the trip in 3 days.

I didn't say it would happen soon,in one turn, or it would that it would be easy.

added on:
It never said the nation consitsted of mages. It is possible thats what the author meant or mabey the author meant that unname mage nation had more mages then average. Thats why I was asking.

You also ruled out deceit entirley.I to be honest I plan on trashing a few villages, small towns, and military outposts before I take on a major city.

To the person who made the unnamed mage nation would you mind if I gave it a name? or for that matter would you mind if I destroyed it?

I have never done this before so too me nothing is generic. I'll try to do something about the grammar though.

Long ago when gods were new to this world demons roamed Kalandha in a bloody war the Gods defeated the demons forcing them out of this realm and too a dark one. The king of the demons Geltor promised to return for vengeance.
-exerts from the History of the Gods
----------------------------------------------------

Geltor since his banishment has seethed in fury and has grown in power. He and his brood have been planning and plotting their escape from their dark realm. It was all for naught until they used their limited influence on the realm of man on a group of dark mages. They tricked the dark mages into making a portal to the demon world. Soon they would have they have their freedom and their vengeance.

Elder dark mage "How long till the portal is ready for the final incantation?" apprentice "We ready at your pleasure." Elder dark mage "very well then lets begin soon the demons will be free and they can fulfill and we will be granted our power"

Surrounding a large metal portal on top of the Mt.Keldor, the dark mages were arranged in a circle started their final incantation. They chanted for hours till finally a blinding flash comes from the portal knocking every one down. When the light fades down the portal was complete.

Geltor "The gate is complete charge through my demon hoard". Him and an army of demons surge through the portal when they come to the other side they find all the dark mages lying on the ground except the elder. Elder “King Geltor we have fulfilled out part of the bargain now grant us our power". Geltor “I’m no longer king of the demons I am the God of Demons". Geltor then lifts the elder offs his feet and devours him. Only one to survive was a dark mage apprentice named Drigy. He runs off to warn the mages of Nerototh and anyone else on his way of the demon god and his army.
