On behalf of TM:

"You'll notice that I'm not new to this whole designing thing. One quick look to BoE's CSR rankings shows that my scenarios have gotten creamed in the past. Another thing you'll notice is that I kept on designing, and still do. If Kel is designing out of a legitimate desire to do so, then he would still be here and may well return. If he is designing out of a whim or for recognition, I doubt he even possesses the capacity to turn out a quality product in either case, and it would thus be good to be rid of him. Exodus, by the way, actually is vastly better than Bahss. It's simply the fact that people didn't notice it back then because they didn't realize how badly the hack-n-slash style of design sucked yet."

1. Infernal would tear through Excalibur before he knew what hit him.

2. Feisty Tentacle Slap of Pain! Need I say more?

3. Grimm knows all of the SA's tactics, therefor the older brother will prevail.

4. Andra would know Thralni unconscious with her club before he even had a chance to call his chickesns.

5. Laz would just stick Nalyd in a scenario with tough combat until he gets worn down.

6. Go go,fluffy turtles!

7. Nikki's I foresee Nem forfeiting in order to remain in Project Spidweb.

8. Saunders would overwhelm Stew Boy with love and turtles.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the Windows version. Carbonization is the process of updating a classic Mac application (OS 9 or earlier) to work in the newer, Unix-based OS X. Universalization refers to editing a PPC OS X application so that it will run natively on an Intel Mac. Now, Intel Mac have an emulation API for PPC OS X applications known as Rosetta, which works fairly well for most applications. Pre-OS X applications will not runon an Intel MAc, so carbonization is absolutely necessary to ensure the future of BoE. Universalization would be nice, since it will use significantly fewer resources to run, but not absolutely necessary.

I won't start celebrating until someone actually carbonizes it. Universalized would be even better, but I'll take what I can get at this point.

The codes are not particular to each person. Each game installation is assigned a random code, and Jeff has algorithms for creating the reg coeds out of those numbers. He doesn't need to keep track of every code. He does keep track of every customer though.

I'm glad there's those trilogy discs.

By payment info, I mean your name, address at the time, and what you used to pay for the games. That's he needs.

If you send Jeff an email with your previous payment info, and the current codes after you download the demos, he'll send you new codes without you having to buy the games again. :)

Another advantage of viewable scripts is that SDF and special item numbers can be found.

BoA engine = Character editor and editable scripts. There could be advantages to editing scripts that the Editor won't do. For example, giving Romans Beast, Craft, and Spirit Circle points and giving Celts Roman Training and Tool Use.

Oh look. It's a recurrence of the problem that "doesn't exist." THis is the first time I've heard of it happening in GF1 though. It's odd that A4 works. More people have had this problem with A4 than any other game.

I don't do this beaause my Bootcamp OS is Vista, and I only have 1 GB of RAM total, so running Vista and OS X at the same time is really not an option.

Geneforge won't, but Nethergate will. The Nethergate demo is quite fun, and it's twice the apparent size due to being able to play both sides.
