Hi i hate to admit it but i'm in my 50's and still love games..i started on the super nintendo about 10 years ago...sometimes i go to the gamespot forums and and check out the pc game discussions..the thing is i'd guess at least 90% of the discussiond revolve around first person shooters.....I played the original doom some and tried the demos of far cry and Halo 2 but i just can't get into them...maybe it's just old age.i like more thinking than reflexes which is why i don't get into fast paced RTS games either..oh to be young again i guess.. Hi since i brought up gameplay..i'd love to find something in the way of a online game thta really has great gameplay...i'm older in my 50's and i've done most known mmorpg;s.. WOW..DOAC...Asheron's call 1 and 2...everquest.....right now i'm trying the skotos trial that has like 14 games for 12.95 a month......they have a non pvp version of meridian 59 and underlight.....my problem is i can't find any long time players to really recommend.the games. i just want something without the old boring MMORPG level grind. Hi I am really tired of all these new games by the big developers requiring more and more pc power without delivering on game play.....who wants to buy a 600$ video card just to play a game... i really havent seen a hugely hyped game where even the demo kept me interested.......I think it's going to be good times for independent developers real soon......i don't mind decent graphics but as soon as i hear cutting edge i know they mean big dough........they call them games because it's supposed to be about game play. [ Saturday, June 25, 2005 09:38: Message edited by: Fenwik ] Posts: 42 | Registered: Saturday, June 25 2005 07:00 |
