To get a perfectly funtional GF3 editor, follow these 3 steps:

MATERIEL NEEDED: GF3, theGF3 script z4eastroaddlg.txt,
the GF2 editor.

STEP 1: Open z4eastroaddlg.txt find this:
begintalknode 6;
state = -1;
nextstate = -1;
condition = 1;
question = "special";
text1 = "The obelisk says:";
text2 = " TESTING GROUNDS";
text3 = " ONLY SHAPERS MAY WALK WITHIN";

STEP 2: Change to:
begintalknode 6;
state = -1;
nextstate = 5;
condition = 1;
question = "special";
text1 = "The obelisk says:";
text2 = " TESTING GROUNDS";
text3 = " ONLY SHAPERS MAY WALK WITHIN";

STEP 3: Get the GF2 editor, copy it, and paste it a the end of the z4eastroaddlg.txt script.

Step 4: Enjoy!!

Make your shaper/agent/guardian glow in Geneforge Series

I did a strange thing yesterday. I copyed the graphic for a Pylon into the shaper part of gforscen.txt . I copied it teice, i came out like this:
