I'm 16. I'm old enough to drive. I'm not old enough to snort coke, buy prostitutes, get some drinks and blow up fireworks, so that's why the party is in Amsterdamn.

Thuryl- If we're keeping track, I'd be 34 this year, not 33. IMAGE(Spiderweb Software Boards Rock the Casbah!_files/tongue.gif)

Zephyr- I told you to get the hell out of Amsterdam, bucko.

SMoE- Same goes for you, Mr. Prissy-ass Bach Mozart Jr. IMAGE(Spiderweb Software Boards Rock the Casbah!_files/tongue.gif)

But hey, this isn't what we came here for. Somehow the transvestite and her bisexual friend got the midget hanging from the cieling! Who's up for some kinky BSSM/BSDM?

Logo has the right idea going. Fortunately for him, I also invited two midgets, a chinese whore and a hermaphrodite. Unfortunately for him, Kamakaski is one of the midgets. Coke is on the house.

This guy is the author of Parallel Dimentia, which is quite possibly the worst scenario in existence, besides anything made by lost_king. Of course, considering he didn't actually register Blades, I'm willing to perhaps let him off the hook for making such a horror.

Oh, and the scary thought of the day just occured to me- I'm BSR.

(Again, nowhere near true. But yeah, that'd be scary. And PPS- Luz was with the Knights for a while, and considering the quality of BSR's graphic or lack thereof, I'm going to guess that she isn't a figment of BSR's imagination either.)

Kurodo? You mean Akabane Kurodo, aka "Doctor Jackal", who hurls around Ceramic Throwing Daggers and his Bloody Sword on GetBackers (a free and legal sub which can be downloaded here for however long it's unlicensed)? No, not a Steely Dan reference.

I've been blessed with a good-enough machine. I can run my 10 applications 84 hours a day (leaving the machine on and sleeping without ever having to turn it off, letting my BitTorrent downloads continue), and it never *ever* crashed since I got it some time last June except for when I run Fallout, which for some odd reason decides to brutally sodomize the user whenever you try to quit. (One has to force quit from Finder instead. Avoidable.) In my case, a G4 is good enough. If your machine is "good enough", that's nice. I'm sure everyone else's machine is "good enough" as well. (This is obviously going to AS, who is mildly irritating at this point. -_-; )

...hence my saying that you wouldn't be able to see out of it. But it would still be neat.

And hey, you could make a lamp that at least partially re-uses its own power. It would certainly be energy-efficient.

Beams and Attacks in Blades of Avernum

Question- How much will we be able to control beam abilities and attacks? What if I want a ghoul to have one claw be dripping poison and the other do icy damage but not have the poison, would this be possible to do? Could one customize the odds of each attack hitting, so that the ghoul has a 99% chance of hitting with the poisoned claw, and a 1% chance of hitting with the icy one? And would I be able to make a badass poison wizard that has a beam that dumps poison, acid, and disease on the party on one shot? I mean, that would be pretty cool. (And also, will there be a node/function that can place acid on the party?)

Personally? I like what I'm hearing. Testing the editor should be interesting.

BTW are there supposed to be so many spelling mistakes?

EDIT: Na Thuryl.

Your assumption for Q3 is false. The universe is expanding but only has so much energy in it, thus guaranteeing that the universe is in fact getting colder. I took the second choice, because I was assuming that the question was objective. Whoops. (A choice along the lines of "all chemicals can be bad for you" would have tripped less people up.)

And actually, it would be feasible to make a lightbulb that powers itself after you get it lit once, although you would need those funky solar energy receptors on every surface that catches the light from the bulb in order to get enough energy back to continue the reaction. (The receptors would need to be in a cube-shape to get this done, though.) But allowing a few holes would make for a much more energy efficient bulb.

Why is this being debated? The best way to go is to use free, open-source Linux OSes. I'd have one of them on my machine if I was well-versed enough to use it.

Lightbulb- I said fluorescant. I don't really see why one would work and the others wouldn't.

Queue- I said 800. Whatever area of science/mathematics this is supposed to measure, I have no idea. (Seriously, tell me.)

Last one- A lightbulb that powers itself would be interesting.
