Why am I not surprised. Good lord- this is the man who helped make Shawshank Redemption. Why he wastes his time with this faux-intellectual rubbish is beyond me. Oh wait, that's right- money.

I'm right at a 3.0, and my school doesn't have weighted grades.

Oh, how I wish my school had weighted grades. -_-

Rosy- are you even in high school? I wasn't sure that 95% averages were difficult to get in grades 1-8. (Not that you likely won't do well in high school- it's just that I got superhigh grades in K1-8, so I never had to worry about pesky things like homework or studying. And then came HS.)

Two Strands and Bandits (both by myself) have heavy leanings. Nebulous Times Hence also has bits of inevitable liberalism dashed in.

Destiny by Robert Ashton is also incredibly heavy on fiscal conservatism.

As for Exile? It's basically infantile hatred of bureaucracy (the "Empire") and bass-ackwards libertarian nonsense for a plot. (This is inevitably extended in DwtD- "Capitalism is a naturally occuring organism, and communism is a virus that eats peoples souls!" Hell, the BoA version of ASR is almost unbearably childish.)

For once, that ain't your fault, young lass. JRR Tolkien is almost universally cited as one of the most awkward rhetoricians in modern literature- in fact, the Book of Mormon is said to have a cleaner and smoother narrative.

This is a private message board. Regardless of freedom of speech laws for the public, a private individual/organization has the right to enforce its own standards for speech in its domain, physical or otherwise.

Put bluntly, it's like saying a teacher who tells you not to curse in class is a fascist. On the street, you can cuss. In the classroom, it's not constructive.

(Plenty of good counter-arguments to this one, but paradox is my sigil...)

Your midnight is my noon. Your graphics are on time. Still, your second submission didn't come through correctly. I'll trust that you actually did send a graphic and that it got mangled up somehow, but I actually do want you to hasten your re-sending of it. (Try zipping or stuffing it.)

Avernum 4 could tell the story of the First Expedition. You know, "a small band of Empire adventurers descended to the unexplored caves where dragons and demons freely roamed etc".

Only then it would have to end with everyone being slaughtered. A pity.

This, I believe, would be a fiercely interesting game: Skip the useless leve-building since you already have Demonslayer, Giantslayer, Smite, etc, and have every tactical challenge revolve around the situations of the members of the expedition- each chapter could be the story of each member. (And it's not assumed that every one of them died- just that their equipment scattered. After all, there IS a physical exit to Exile/Avernum at that point, and since falling off of a cliff inevitably means that the person is still alive, it's plenty feasible that they might only be assumed to be dead.) The various chapters would be gauntlets where the single party member could have people join his/her crew, and most paths end in slaughter- there would be lots of fleeing.

Unfortunately, there would be few (if any) goblin dungeons and little senseless slaughtering. So much for that idea.

Geneforge... What mindless, inane, poseur rubbish. Also known as "Pokeforge," or "Deep philosophical discourse from a fourth-grade Libertarian." I'll likely end up playing Geneforge 3, but I won't buy it.

Look in the room with the 3 golems for a key.

Use the key to open the northeasternmost room, the gem is inside. (The paranoid goblin is totally optional, although gives you some EXP if you help him. Hey, it's free EXP after all...)

There is, BTW, no BoE version of Emerald Mountain.

Funny thing, that.

I cannot hold respect for somebody who can throw away many years of far-from-easy work, most of it successful, in a medium where the defamer hasn't released the paltriest effort to date and is offended when her infantile, philistine world of killing goblins comes into question by something that doesn't necessarily have sidequests and legions of objectified vahnatai to mow down.

And you people wonder why my primary motivation for making scenarios has been spite.

In summation:
SHUT THE HELL UP BEFORE YOU LOOK EVEN MORE LIKE THE SORRY IDIOT YOU ARE

QED. Have a nice day. ^_^

I'd think making G1000 or whatever PC sheets are should allow for PC graphic customization. Perhaps I should have tried it with Corp?
...well, it'd be a waste to put it on SW anyway.

I think it's more the alleged ~7 BoE scenarios you've made and haven't released plus the fact that you are well over a month late after a beta call that make us doubt you. This is Drakey-esque proportions here.

It's called choice, reason, and logic. All of which were sadly lacking in your scenario. I on the other hand have not played any of your other scenario's, therefore cannot say whether or not you actually have quality work, however to degrade newbies, is obviously extremely self-righteous of you.

There are three people who have talked up scenarios pre-release and actually have produced quality products. Namely, Alcritas, Stareye and myself. Put bluntly- maybe experts can do it; newbies cannot. (Most of my smaller scenarios are one-week design sprees, basically.)
