What? That's another reason not to, AA.

Some people wonder why other people get intelligent. They should be smart too; they just don't like reading. There you go.

Where do we all live? in General

Eh, in Montana it doesn't get as cold as Minnesota. Just as picturesque too, I might add, especially in the mountains. :P Oh, never mind, no offense.

What I'd like to see is not a poll whether or not we live in the US, but the distribution of posters among the states (ie. if not every state, then Great Lakes, New England, north Pacific, Alaska/Hawaii, etc.). But I guess that would be bias toward all the non-US members.

We've regularly been in the 90s the last few summers here, which is hotter than anyone should ever have to live through. 65 or 70 is about right.

I still see TM scenarios on the Spiderweb tables. Even if you're still not happy, there is a link to Alexandria on the Spiderweb webpage. A wise move if you ask me.

Eh, sure, we found no WMDs. But we mays well take care of Saddam's terrorism, if not toward us toward his own people, once and for all.

Oh, and a direct terrorist attack on important buildings inside the US is definately a good reason to go to war.

Yeah, I haven't seen Schrodinger forever, hardly, except for a few times. He seems like quite a likable guy, but I coudn't vote for him seing as I don't really know him anyway. He usually posts as soon as someone mentions him...

Wow, Ash, you live next to a lot of Spiderwebbers. I don't think any other 'webber lives even close to Montana. :(

I going to try to finish a good book I started - The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene. Anyone else read that one? I think it's better than Greek and Latin or whatever, but imho, I guess, so go for it, Kel!

Other than that, I'd rather not go without a summer job, even though I have a choice. Money! @_@

I think you guys should be happy I waited until I was 14 to join, however. But I'm glad there are still young ones here.

I like all those slashes/divide by signs. :P / :D

From what I've heard, it's horribly biased toward Michael More's left-wing viewpoint.

Also, there's no telling what could have happened after September 11 in the way of terrorist attacks had we done nothing about it.

What's your job this summer, or, more generally, what's your job, non-school?

I'm currently doing construction with my dad.

I got a 128 on the Tickle test, I think, which claims at the end that it can tell a whole boatload of stuff about you from your answers to a 40-question multiple-choice test. You'd think they'd have a scientifically accurate way to measure your total intelligence level by now.

For now, I consider IQ to be irrevelant, since people with high capacity for smarts don't necessarily use it, so lower IQ people will just pass them up. Furthermore, you can't just tell how smart someone is from a simple test.

However, there does seem to be an academically excelling trend among posters on Spiderweb, if you've ever notice. I am actually considered one of the smartest kids in my class, and my grades are up there too, like a 97 average, I think.

What we are doing in this war is preventing another September 11, which was a threat to our national security.

Why did we go to Iraq? Because it was becoming more of a threat. Why? WMDs. But we didn't find any. True. So why did we go there? There was a threat of WMDs. But this was not a direct threat to our national security. Terrorists of any kind, especially these Muslims, are a threat to any nation's security.

Some people's relatives and siblings, I tell you! My two brothers have "used" my account before, but only under my supervision. Though I guess they do have full access to it, since I never log out. But you'd know if it was them and not me. ;)

Nuclear holocaust, Global warming, biological agents, anything we're capable of doing short of physical alteration of the earth's mass or orbit itself won't do a damn thing to the planet in the long run, after we're gone, it will regenerate itself and life will start over, even if that period of regeneration is billions of years.

Allow me to point out that the only thing keeping the atmosphere and current temperature of the Earth is the plant and animal life. Without plants, Earth would probably be another version of Venus and be engulfed in carbon and sulfur dioxide that let's practically no radiation out. But we do have plants so thank goodness for that. :P

Why, of course Bush wants to mine oil out of Alaska. It's there for the taking, and it's a lot better than having it shipped from foreign countries. Oh, and environmental disturbances my eye. :D
