OOC: You want me to take it out? it's not like I'm attacking the entire faction. Just some backwater group trying to bring their message ot Valorim. You probably wouldn't be informed about it until our factions met, if they do. EDIT: Right, I'll edit the part about the monsters. Fine I'll change it to a scrying pool, and this is my last invasion like this. I will slow down, but I wouln't take it out. okay is it good now? OOC: I accept your alliance. At this time I need all the help I can get. IC: Tygra had seen it all. That foolish spies hadn't even known about his scrying pool. Tygra also had a good guess at what they were looking for. My magical convcing spell. Good thing the spell is heavily encrypted. They risked their lives for it, charming. Tygra had the book relocated into a magical safe. Now, time to take over Bolton. There is a rather powerful mercenary group wandering around. I should get them to take out my enemies. Tygra wrote a letter to the mercenaries. He had decided to send them at the Goblin-Nephil-Nephar Alliance. Both of the groups were getting ot big to be ignored. ************************************************* An hour later his scouts had returned from down the tunnel. They all bowed before Tygra deeply, kissing his feet. Tygra cleared his throat and the scouts gave their reports, "Master, the tunnel goes to a small cave! It's too deep for Upper Avernum, we have our own cave!" The news pleased Tygra, a tunnel to a cave! Tygra bit his lip deep in thought, waving the scouts away dismissively. ************************************************* Within the next three weeks the Hunters had sent Bolton into revolt, taking over from there. All they had to do was stop the flow of food, causing the commoners to kill the corrupt beaurucrats (spelling?) and power crazy mages. From there the Hunters swept in, quickly adding Bolton to the Hunter territory. From there they had sent wave after waze of tamed creatures north. They're mercenary army and the Goblin-Nephil-Nephar Alliance was not struck. Tygra had focused the attack on some people calling themselves representitives of the Order of Krell. They were dead in no time. After that the Hunter army pushed the Goblin-Nephil-Nephar Alliance towards Sharimik. It worked. From there they sent the mercenary army and tamed creatures to Bigail to kill. He knew they wouldn't do much since they were so weak. The foolish mercenaries wouldn't make it back and now the Hunters controlled all the area between the Enlightened Anama and the Dominion of the Learned. The final act of the week was to begin construction of a bridge between the Hunters and the Dominion of the Learned. The Hunters also destroyed the bridge that led towards Sharimik. IC: Tygra was considering one last attack before marching north. Bolton was the last city he wanted to claim before heading north. The Dominion of the Learned has foes in Bolton. Taking it out might imptove relations. Tygra wasn't sure if the Enlightened Anama would like that. Being sandwiched in between two opposing groups was difficult. A band of scouts had been sent down through the tunnel an hour ago on the fastest horses. I wonder if the tunnel goes anywhere... Tygra bit his lips, thinking about it. The best thing would be either the slith homeland or Lower Avernum. That way he could slowly kill two great foes. Finally coming to a decision about Bolton, he decided to spare it for the day. Instead he would go to the magical library... -------------------- All praise the greatest mod of all time! Long live Master Aran! Posts: 1186 | Registered: Friday, June 18 2004 07:00 |

IC: Tygra listened to all the couriers deliver there messages. He waved his hand dismissively. He had to get to his army and lead them to conquer Delan. How did some many sliths get control of Delan, Delis, and Pergies? He had already given his speech to the people and now it was time for a bit of travelling. ************************************************* At the head of the army Tygra sat on his horse. Now after a short briefing his army was mobilized. Our first militay assualt. Must have the human slaves rebel against those damn sliths. It was a quiet rainy day in Delan. Only a small amount of sliths watched the human slaves. Most of the sliths were at Pergies. "Humans rebel!" A voice dripping with some sort of spell yelled out. Almost immediantly the humans all rose throwing rocks at the gaurds. Tygra had his two mages send a blast of fire at the walls. In no time his soldiers were through. In even less time the sliths were over run and killed. Tygra stepped up to the former slaves. He preached out about the Hunters and in no time they all joined. Now for the other two... ************************************************* His army moved fast, quickly doing to Delis what they did to Delan. From there the soldiers toke an all out assault to Pergies. By burning their javelins before they could get to them and killing their mages and priests quickly they held dominance. The human rebels combined wiht raining arrows killed the remander of the slith army in no time. In less then a week he had started getting proper gaurds around his three newest cities. Those sliths who weren't dead were now his slaves, mining the mines. Tygra looked down at the pile of dead sliths in Delan. "We will feed the corpses to our slaves" he said to the slave master. A mighty earthquake hit the mines of Pergies and shook Pergies up bad. The miners had reported that a massive shaft had opened up. It was worth investagating as it could have even more sliths... OOC: First RP here, don't worry, I learn fast. IC: Tygra was a lucky leader. One of the original revolutionaries he was. He had overthrown Krizsan, and from ther took over Clochis and Silvar. Tygra hadn't really even had much fighting. His original thirty or so soldiers and himself. He had stumbled upon a spell in the ruins of Bojar's Tower. A spell that make you extremly convincing. Of course he took it. He had his two mages cast it on himself and then using the spell took over. He was the starter of the Hunters. The Hunters took had a small magical library, and good farming. Most importantly was the devotion of his people. Name: Hunters Leader name: Tygra Nyrulia Location: Krizsan-Silvar-Colchis and surroundin area Religon: Church of Divine Independence Description: First was the people, they loved Tygra, the spell had worked so well that they saw Tygra as a benevolent savior rather then the wicked dictator he was. They would gladly give up anything for him. Second was the enemies. All foes that survived the battles were talked to by Tygra himself. The people either joined, being branded with a red eye which helped keep the devotion. If they refused then they would be slaughtered immediantly. No risk of rebels coming back to kill him later. The Hunters are completly devoted to the destruction of all non-humans. They think of non-humans as a plague sent down by the gods. They think as humans as the blessed race, and the Hunters as man gods. A massive army of about one hundred fifty, plus gaurds protect them. Yeah, but who really wants that. The Takers are the rebels now. They're goals are to KILL ALL SHAPERS! Somehow a peace confrence doesn't seem likely. Jeff already told us that this is a war. What's the fun in a peace confrence? They have to battle it out. The Awakened if they could somehow could convert the Shapers, but what are the chances. If the Awakened or Shapers are going to win then the Rebels must die. Also the Rebels WANT war. End of rant. -------------------- All praise the greatest mod of all time! Long live Master Aran! I hope that it goes out with a BIG bang. Basically I'm hoping that the big finale in the General Forum ends the life of the Ur-Noob. What's more, in the end it would be cool if the spirits of all the dead Spiderwebbers, like Alorael, attack the noob army. It would be a good way to have all us dead guys get our revenge. Oh and also, maybe someone could ressurect us without being undead or whatever. -------------------- Constitutional monarchies are the in monarchies. There's a porblem with the undead thing. That's not Shaping, it's necromancy. You don't Shape the undead, you ressurect them. That is the reason it can't be shaper magic, and also in Jeff's games, necromancy is frowned upon. Also, IF the Awakened come back then it would be a lot coller if they weren't evil or whatever. Lastly, the Separists, what the heck are there goals? In other words, explain more about them. -------------------- All praise the greatest mod of all time! Long live Master Aran! I've said this multiple times, the Awakened would have to kill hte Shapers and Rebels. The reason why is by now all sides are set on their beliefs. If not then they would probably be Awakened. Maybe if the Awakened sell Rebel secrets to the Shapers adn vice versa they oculd weaken both sides enough to wipe them out. Then as I said they could rebuild the world around Awakened beliefs. Bottom line, THERE ARE TOO MANY EXTREMISTS TO KILL WITHOUT WAR! EDIT: Just a little question, what ending is GF3 based on? I just want to know the side. My human priest: He is a missionary sent by the Empire to do work in Avernum. He represents the Church of the Anama, and joined the band of adventurers to help spread the word. He and the magician often have heated discussions. He himself doesn't use magical items but doesn't force his friends not to. My human wizard: He is a mage sent by the Tower Colony. He studied into all manor of magic, but was cut off from his research by a power struggle with his rival. His rival framed him for the theft of a magical tome and he was banished from learning at the Tower Colony. He was going to study at Formello's library and was hired by my band of adventurers. He and the priest often argue over religon. My slith warrior: My slith warrior was one of the good sliths in the Second Slith War. He fought only once in a small battle. After that he was sent as a soldier to Formello and was hired by my band of adventurers. He often spars with my nephil warrior and listens fascintated to the wizard's and the priest's conversations. My nephil warrior: He is a nephil from the Mrrrah(spelling?) Clan. He was sent to Formello one day when he went to trade. He often fished along the various rivers in Avernum. Once while going to trade in Formello he met the rest of my adventurers and joined up. He is a secret follower of the Anama and likes to get in scuffles with my slith warrior. -------------------- Pass the sauerkraut and chips please. It's obvious that if the Awakened have any chance of survival then the Shapers (or atleast their beliefs) have got to go. Also I believe that the canisters can't be allowed to live if the Awakened are to. The Awakened can't be so passive, they've got to resatart the Shapers after winning the war and set them straight from the beggining. -------------------- All praise the greatest mod of all time!
