Bumpage, for the sole reason that Darkness now has a thread at the Lyceum. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Posts: 4130 | Registered: Friday, March 26 2004 08:00 |

quote:Yes, this is perfectly normal. You have to fight through some of the dragon's minions to get to him. Not sure why Khoth would still be attacking, though... As for the gates not working, that sounds like a bug in the scripts. Is anything else happening that is out of the ordinary? -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. quote:Perhaps your model just went obsolete. :P But seriously, I found a lot of the A4 fights to be big challenges, strategy-wise. Heck, the pylons were an excellent example of a 'fight' where you're better off using your brain to completely avoid the 'fight'. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." I object to those shows, but on the principle that they look like horrible TV. I don't think they say anything bad about overweight folks... but then again, I don't watch them. Upon looking at the Fat March article, though... it looks pretty bad. And again, I'm not sure it's discrimination, but I'm pretty sure it's stupid. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Hm... well, there's always the option of giving yourself some Magic Lockpicks via the character editor. If you've registered, you can do that. Drat, Lazarus beat me to it... so much for scouring the scenario in the editor. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Whoops, should've mentioned that. I'd suggest a 20-30ish party. Singletons might want to aim for the upper bit of that range. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Ditto on the statue. And ditto on what Dintiradan said... release it! Doesn't matter how much hack/slash it has, it can't be worse than Shipwrecked! :P In all seriousness, though. Release it. Set it free! -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. ...or rather, Darkness, my fourth scenario for Blades of Avernum, is complete and ready for release. That said, it's up on my site and ready for download. The premise is simple. Your party was hired to help with an archaeological dig in one of Avernum's lower caves. A freak accident left you as the last living members of the dig, and a cavequake has you seemingly trapped in the cave. You need to find a way out, whatever the cost. (I've noticed something lately. We finish scenarios, but we don't really seem to announce them over here anymore. It's almost as if we designers are only really making scenarios for each other to play anymore... and I don't like that trend. No reason to shrink the community any more, it's small enough as is. Thus, this.) -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Well, then you might want to email Red Sage about it. There's a button next to his post that says 'Profile'. Click there, and you'll find his email address. Emailing the creator of the trainer tends to work better than posting in a topic that's been dead for a year. Just so you know. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Well, getting the key from the mage stationed outside the lair is the easiest way, but the next best way would be to take whichever character has Unlock Doors and pump up their Tool Use. Strangely, having extra Tool Use actually increases the power of the Unlock Doors spell in A4. Well, I guess it's only strange in that it makes sense, which is just weird for anything to do with RPG statistics. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." I personally wouldn't mind, and I seriously doubt that anyone else will. Oh, and 6am to 6am isn't any more ridiculous than 12pm to 12pm. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice.
