Bah, I like the sounds, the ones with the sword are well made, nothing like smashing a spider with your sword :D

Neither have I, maybe one is not supposed to actually be able to read them, they only show you there's something near.

There's another possible observation from what happened here: when members are banned and the threads locked, it's like saying "now, we used the power, the thing is closed and shut up!". Whereas here there's been an opportunity to point things out, express opinions on the matter, which I like.

Couldn't have put it any better, Creator.
Anyway, I went to the "Evolution" forum and there is indeed evidence of bad behaviour.
Let's hope this works out fine.
Live it up!

I saw people insulting him as well and nothing happened to them. I am not questioning mods' decisions or power, it's just that I was following the conversation and he was first insulted by someone who said "up yours", then Ravaged of course replied to that. I also saw people giving him, in fact, warnings, but warnings of not to mess with the oldies or mods. It's ok to respect the oldies, but oldies should also be respectful. Shouldn't they?
Whatever, I just wanted to give my opinion. Thanks.

I think a fair moderator is one who first warns the user of his misbehaviour, then if the user carries on he should be banned.

Actually, a couple of hourse after posting that message I found a small room with the wheel you mention, so after that I could finish the mission.
Now I am playing The 3rd mission about the river which is difficulttt. By the way, do you really have to hurry all the way or you can stop to see and explore places???

Hi, two things:

I allied the rebels :P and managed to accomplished the missions until they sent me to the "hidden" Empire Fort. I entered, killed Dylan and managed to killed the Strong commander as well. Now I am stuck and alone in this fort  How do I get out? There is this lever locked in the east side of the entrance but I don't know how to enter the small cell where it is, help me please, thank you.

Second, now that I opened this topic I would like to ask you people which side do you prefer playing?
First I played loyalty to the Empire but couldn't help feeling ashamed and sad at the end. Now I entered the scenario again -with more experience ;) to make it for the rebels.

I am sorry if this question is obvious or if it is clear where I can do it, but I must be blind because I haven't been able to find a place where I can download all the scenarios I have seen commented in places like the Lyceum for example.

So please help me, where am I suppossed to click to download the scenarios? I can't find them
Thanks in advance for your help!

The "A sudden rush of blood to the head" album by Coldplay.
And when I play Spider web games (like Geneforge) I love listening stuff like Metallica or iron Maiden.

Good job arrow, now I got another "wish". In exile II there were massive battle (against the empire troops), you could face like 15 soldiers, 3 captains + mages and that was real fun, it took time and after the battle you had a lot of stuff to pick up. I miss those big battles. How about something like this: you are comfortably resting in your home in the Shaper's country when suddenly, an army of takers attack the city, it's an unexpected invasion, so everything is turmoil and sirens are heard and you are called to arms, will you engage in that massive fight (let's say 20 (powerful) serviles, 20 drakons, 10 dryaks, 10 battle gammas, etc, will you fight for the shapers or against them?
How about that?
Also, how about sailing (to another place) on boats (like in exile II) and have naval battles?

I like to feel I'm doing things right in a game, therefore I would like to see more often situations in which I can help, say, serviles which are outnumbered or maybe a farmer and his son who are about to be attacked by a pack of rogues, where I feel I helped the good guys and saved the day. Most people here have made comparisons with Exile, and though they are different games, I still think some elements could help Geneforge, I remember there were some points in Exile II where you were given the option of helping some travellers that were being ambushed or attacking them. That's what I mean.
Also, I would like to see the so many enemies that have shaping skills actually SHAPE when fighting me. Many shapers fell to my sword but NO ONE ever shaped (at least) a fyora to aid him when he was fighting me, why?
I also think one should be able to shape powerful creations from the beginning of the game, what's the point of creating an UR-DRAKON later in the game when there is no need to shaping it because you have become so powerful on your own?
I also agree with modifying the sounds. Almost every shaper that is killed makes the very same sound I make when I get killed.
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!
