There's one in Eastern Valorim. I forget the name of the town, but it's north of Storm Port and across the river. You can courier things to another town and he's in there. The dragons will give you a mithral sword too. -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Let the chips fall where they may. Why not make a scenario based on a good book you've read recently, or a tv show you like? Most people on here with decent storylines have already used them to make their own scenarios. -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Which Exile are you playing? In E3 your best bet is to complete a few plagues and hang around until the Orb of Thralni gets stolen. I prefer Exile 2 out of all of them. Then again it was the 1st demo I found but the last game I registered so I spent a good 2 years going through everything in the demo. The Vahnatai are excellent, and it's a lot harder to cheat in 2. -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Let the chips fall where they may. As far as I know it doesn't increase with level, it's just a matter of luck. What I used to do is save just before the barrier, use the crystal and then reload if it didn't work so I didn't waste all my crystals. That said, if 50 times hasn't done it then it probably won't. Have you tried walking through it or looking for secret passages? -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Let the chips fall where they may. I still say use the editor. You only have to do it once, and at least you won't end up wasting all your skill. -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Let the chips fall where they may. Posts: 1277 | Registered: Sunday, December 9 2001 08:00 |

I've reinstalled Exile about 6 times. Everytime I change something I reinstall and try again. How would I go about reinstalling my system? And the reason I switched from Mac is because I moved out of my parents house and the computer they got me for my birthday happened to be a PC. -------------------- I say never be complete. Thanks for all your help, but I need more! (sorry). Reconfiguring my autoexec and config files fixed the autoexec but shifted the problem to the config, and nothing I did would remove the problem. Seems that changing the config mended the autoexec and vice versa, but nothing would do both. I think the problem is autoexec in my c:\I386 folder. Anyone with some computer knowledge would really be in my good books right now! Thankyou -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Not that I know of. I just use it to open up the supply caches. And Shift,full-stop does something as well. Possibly random items in E1/2 -------------------- I say never be complete. I've been playing Exile on a Mac for years, and just got a new PC which I've tried to download Blades onto. Unfortunately, everytime I try to install it says my autoexec file doesn't support programs for windows and dos (or words to that effect). The first time I tried I managed to install and play, which then crashed my computer completely and I had to do a system restore. Now it won't even let me install the basic program that you download. Any ideas? -------------------- I say never be complete. I say stop being perfect. I say let's evolve. Let the chips fall where they may. Posts: 1277 | Registered: Sunday, December 9 2001 08:00 |

Enter from the east entrance, and walk left. You'll find a secret passage in the rock. Walk down and turn right to leave the passage. There are another 2 or 3 in the series after the Wolves of the Calla. Can't wait!!! If you like those then try Eye of the Dragon, another one of his fantasy books...
