I have a penchant for odd news. I do not believe that most of the news that is being touted as relevant is particularly accurate so I read a lot of junk news for entertainment.

I see a lot of the news on the main channels as being on the same level as the national enquirer or as blithering idiocy.

Some new sources for odd and entertaining news would be nice. I read incredibly fast as well.

I read:

http://www.snopes.com

and

-- Yahoo News Oddly Enough

Most news is weird because it's the best think newsmakers can come up with that would be even remotely interesting and/or worth watching/listening to. Also most news is so liberal that Bush seemingly can't do a thing right.

It isn't the news's fault that he's readily the worst president this side of Harding. When even Fox News starts making him look bad, you know that the bias is on the behalf of the facts and not the media themselves.

You want a real left-wing bias? Read Salon (www.salon.com) for a week. Then watch CNN again. I can promise you you won't be whining about left-wing media any more.

Ol' ben has never seen Letterman, and now has one more reason not to. >_<

Ol' Aran, in turn, has never seen Fox News, and would probably consider there to be thousands of reasons not to. However, he still intends to watch at least a bit of it, in order to see for himself.

That is what separates him from closedminded people.

I'm stuck with just CNN and Headline News here so I've no choice either way.
Ben: why don't you give Letterman a watch? See at least the first five minutes, worst that can happen is that you'll truly never again have a reason to see him. Or maybe you'll see something you'll like. Or maybe Dennis Miller?

Letterman has insulted Bush every single show he had after Bushie became president, right? He is the coolest. ^_^
But lets not start a Bush argument...

I don't watch much 'normal' news (8 palestinians died today, WTO has decided that UAGHUAGHUAGHone, etc.) But I look for strange news on normal news channels and stuff.

EDIT: Pop what Ruthie?
