How typical to have a topic about a tragic event turn into a political debate. That's spiderweb for you. My two cents: I've never really cared about the right to own weapons, since I own none and have no intention to buy any. Thus it is very easy for me to call for the banning of firearms. I would probably feel very differently if I was a hunter. Non hunting weapons are a lot harder for me to find justification for. So here's the scoop, I'm making a short scenario and am looking for beta testers. The scenario is half movie half scenario, with only two interactive town/dumgeon levels. I on the other hand, love superspecialization. Training a character all the way up in one particular thing is more appealing to me. I just find it easier if everyone has straitforward roles in the group. For example I like to have one superstrong defensive character who can dish out some damage to "tank" the monsters, then a second more damage heavy character, then my priest and my mage. It's more conceptual to me than actually pragmatic. While at this point I realize that Iraq was a mistake, one question still nags at me.
