Kelandon, you've said too much already. The peanut walks by night.

Dolphin, I do believe you're alienating the linearly oriented board members. What do you intend to do about it?

—Alorael, who recommends cookies and lots of them. You can't go wrong with cookies. Especially if they're washed down with cheap, plentiful, and probably carcinogenic booze.

And now we're back to the original question of what you get when you misread Election, aren't we?

—Alorael, who would like to remind everyone that, as Alec has pointed out, Spiderweb already has a meaty CoC. And moderators have been known to slap people with it. Irony? Could be.

Avernum has the often overlooked height effects that do add a little bit. And the aforementioned nifty skills, better dialogue, Lost Bahssikava, etc. etc.

—Alorael, who will remind everyone that a true moderator would never stray off topic. Ahem.

Orange with subliminal messages written in tiny octarine dot-and-dash written morse code. Religion should never make sense, and cults should raise it to an art.

—Alorael, who refuses to believe that he's not right. That's another good cultist trait.

I would put on the set of earrings myself and implode.

If the prospectives can't vote for themselves, they are best off either voting for someone they think has no chance at all or not voting at all. Neither one helps the democratic process. Therefore, I implore everyone to either vote reasonably or not vote at all. Or you could, you know, vote for me. That would be gnarly.

—Alorael, who now sees an equal number of candidates and non-candidate voters. Ah, if only American politics were like this. We could make Florida look reasonable!

I believe Jeff just sells the games and gets a cut of the profits. All he has to do is drop the money in a bank account. The fact that the money is received neither confirms nor denies RW's current existence and says nothing at all about his present location.

—Alorael, who is more comfortable with the view that society owes him. Big time. Sorry, someone else will have to play the victim.

You have to buy it. Jeff has announced no plans of releasing the games for free and Exile 3, at least, still seems to sell a fair number of copies.

—Alorael, who can at least point out that they're really cheap. All Spiderweb games are.

I hate posting polls, but this really is necessary. I think it may contain useful information if people refrain from lying, which I always doubt in these polls.

—Alorael, who would also try to get a pre-election sense of who's likely to win if there weren't new candidates popping up all the time.

Poll Information
This poll contains 1 question(s). 52 user(s) have voted.

function launch_voter () { launch_window("http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=poll;d=vote;pollid=ofkiYIjBWVWT"); return true; } // end launch_voter function launch_viewer () { launch_window("http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=poll;d=view;pollid=ofkiYIjBWVWT"); return true; } // end launch_viewer function launch_window (url) { preview = window.open( url, "preview", "width=550,height=300,toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status,menubar=no,scrollbars,resizable,copyhistory=no" ); window.preview.focus(); return preview; } // end launch_window IMAGE(votenow.gif)     IMAGE(voteresults.gif)

Well, you're stupid. And I find your taste in clothes abhorrent, your personal hygiene reprehensible, your style of posting irksome, and the way you pronounce "Kelandon" loathsome.

—Alorael, who also hates you a lot. Loser.

Maybe a look at the Code of Conduct would be helpful, fatman?

"Spelling critic" is not "typographical master" unless you really misspell it.

Welcome! Since the sanity and door line has been delivered, I'll deliver a warning. Just don't drink the water and don't breathe the air. Fortunately it's a forum, so neither is really much of a problem.

—Alorael, who still isn't quite sure what one should say under the circumstances. In person a firm handshake and/or slap on the back usually suffices. Does anyone have a handshake graemlin?

If I can vote, which I presume I can, then Scrho can vote, and so can you, Saundy!

That's with a starting assumption that may not be valid, of course, but who's to stop us? Alec's hardly disinterested himself...

—Alorael, who isn't sure exactly what kind of program a General mod can have. Stop the spammers? Let the good topics grow? Noninterference is usually the best policy.

Since Xian Skull was in A3, not General, I think it was missed by the PPP. If I recall correctly, it was also pruned at a time other than the General pruning.

—Alorael, who isn't sure why that would be. Perhaps his memory is playing tricks.

MM is worthless, evil, shifty, lackadaisical, obsequious, impertinent, and inept. Not necessarily in that order.

—Alorael, who doesn't think there are many people still around who remember why MM was worthless. Water under the bridge and all that. Bundles of sticks and even less polite homophones are last year's baggage.

Also not made by the same person, I feel compelled to point out. Homeland is terrible and is made by someone whose name I forgot if I ever knew it. SubTerra is made by Pieter Simooms, Radiant on these boards, and is actually fun (though it runs hellishly slow in virtual PC).

—Alorael, who likes Leylines too. It's by Pieter, it's fun, but it runs even slower, and newer versions of VPC only make it worse. It also has a middling resemblance to Battle for Wesnoth.

A question of procedure: given the number of candidates, wouldn't it be both fair and logical to have a number of electoral rounds in which those who are not in the top X are eliminated? Two or three would be reasonable with all the current potentials.

—Alorael, who would like to know the specifics of the election before casting his vote. As Alec seems to be the official (and a candidate? Hmm!), he must be the one who knows or can decide.

Can we still register RW games now that he's missing? If so, does Jeff pocket the money or send it to RW's account?

—Alorael, who will volunteer someone else to register something and test it. He's feeling merciful, so you may register LS.
