You're not looking at the work of a professional here. The graphics are very good for the budget Leylines is being created on. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

I had the same problem as Omelette with the tutorial. Am I doing something wrong, or... In addition, I hit a registration barrier when changing the map size in the editor. Isn't it a little unconventional to have such things in a beta version, being as how registering beta versions is typically impossible? I love it appearance-wise. Once the tutorial works I'll be more able to tell how it is in gameplay terms. BTW, good job on the tutorial -- nothing really breakable that I could see on it [besides the enemy scout bit, which currently stops it for me], and really thorough. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

It was my understanding that cojones came in a full and nominally indivisible set, and that something is either "the cojones" or "no cojones". But eh. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

The only music which grates on my nerves uniformly is soft jazz and big band. Besides that I don't make any categoric judgements. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

Too expensive. Spidweb is a mom and pop company. Also, the ps2 market is dominated by the likes of the Final Fantasy games. Nothing Spidweb has could compete with that in terms of graphics, which is really all people play consoles in particular for. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

Thank you, Imban. If this is the sort of behaviour I can expect from anyone who reckons themself a senior member to me, I'm seriously wondering why I joined these boards in the first place :\ [ Saturday, June 28, 2003 16:21: Message edited by: General Custer ] -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

Red wine does indeed have a health benefit in small amounts. Grape juice has the same health benefit without the alcohol. -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

It's still an archetype I would be surprised if he did not meet. I'll keep it down, though. [ Friday, June 27, 2003 19:44: Message edited by: General Custer ] -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |

quote:"You know, I wonder in what way I could do something even more pointless and anachronistic than inaccurately re-enacting minor battles from a heavily propagandised war which occured sixscore years before I was born. I also like using factory-produced, unrealistic swords with which I can pretend I'm a medieval knight and not actually a fat, obsessive geek who has failed to grow out of the 'I'm a knight in shining armour' phase... but now that I think of it, I like inaccurately re-enacting minor battles from a heavily propagandised war better." -------------------- In a word, gay. --Bob the Impaler Posts: 2367 | Registered: Friday, June 27 2003 07:00 |
