Um, cr_summon_level should do the trick. It must be manually set.

There is always something you can do to make a monster immune to certain types of attacks, but they will always affect more things that 1 and will have side effects. Giving him cr_immunities 4 = 100; should make him resist Control Mind, and similar confusion spells.

To make him un-Simulacram-able, make him species = 12; for special type.

Look at talk node 32:

text3 = "he looks startled. _I didn't mean to tell you that. You forget that! You Forget that._"; he sighs. _Oh, yes, and there was also another secret";

Just look after You Forget that., and you should see what's wrong.

How do all of you find the time to think of such things, and take the time to meticulously draw them, then host them?

If I had time to tie my shoes more than half way, I'd probably be a lot further than where I am now!

No it doesn't. When you go into shop mode, selection is brought to the first available character, and abilities are always assumed to be for the first character, but those aren't bugs.

OF COURSE THE GAME REMEMBERS DROPPED ITEMS. It isn't as unforgiving as Exile, but remember that there is a limit.

If you wanted some variables to carry over, you'd just have to use SDFs.

Under lenient licenses for CDs, you may make copies for yourself as long as only one is being used at any one time.

You probably won't game on both machines at the same time, so you should be fine.

I'm pretty sure you can't get into that room or the one behind Erika's throne in E3.

I don't remember a call that returns the specific item on a space. I know there are special class calls, but not normal item type calls.

Even if it existed, it probably wouldn't work out too well because more than 1 item can be placed in a spot.

Personality problems in Blades of Avernum Editor

The personality thing is only useful for the action INTRO. I believe that the idea is that when you talk to a character for the first time, its personality switch is set. When a dialogue node with a corresponding personality the action INTRO in it, the action is performed.

How about you post what you have?

Beast Ceremony is not useless. It is saves a lot of time when you need to bless your party, and WORKS OUTDOORS.

Very helpful for outdoor fights.

Divine Warrior was overpowered, but Divine Retribution is so UNDERpowered. If it did every single negative effect imaginable and did a little more damage, it would be worth it. The effects should affect all creatures not immune, but only living creatures would be damaged, I guess.

Forcecage should've been able to affect more targets, or at least hold them longer.

Spray acid is the most useless spell, though. If the damage stacked exponentially and would do damage at the initial casting and have multiple targets, it would be worth it.

The monster thing you are describing is the same thing as the terrain thing I already have up there.

You could modify the INIT_STATE of the basicnpc script to erase the character types in question. It's only for your scenario, so don't freak out about it.

We would all love him so much more if he did all 3.

I don't think it is necessary to separate them even further, since it is only 2 calls. Just move them into a new category. I recommend that the calls be updated and the NO WAY ones stricken from the record.

That's the only reasonable assumption. And by the way, I have no concrete examples to support any of these. These are just well documented observations. But I assure you that all of them ARE bugs that exist.

Well, we could live in a utilitarian society with ubiquitous values and absolute references to everything. That would be very interesting for language, though. Extremely precise and easy to understand.

...barcoding people is a little extreme, don't you think? I'd be all for it if 2 things would be satisfied:
Variable sizes for the pics.More than 1 possible per dialog box.

You have given personalities to the actual people, right?

This next thing is about the states in dialogue, and it is hard to explain in words, and you probably already know this, but I'll endeavor to go ahead anyway.

The scope (where it will have affect) of a 'state' is the entire dialogue script, not its personality. Assume that you don't have any entities that share dialogue nodes. Ent1 has been given states 1-10 for his dialogue. Ent2 will have to continue from state 11 for its dialogue, otherwise the options present in the states from Ent1 will appear in Ent2's dialogue.
