and Russia's a large insignificant country. Russia's in too bad of a shape to mess with anyone. Besides even if it did, the US would gladly sieze the opportunity to needlessly bomb another country.

Question: Does Windows 98 have an activation key like XP does? Or is 98 free of that annoying, time wasting bs?

Paladine the platinum dragon, who looked like he had seen better times, however, wasn't so much the omnipresent frown as it was just the ragged, frayed, and faded appearance overall, went to a colabottle producing factory, that was actually a magical gateway to Mars. There he came across a rather large, slack jawed moose chewing on a shoe lace. Paladine said "Hey man - what are your thoughts on the economy?", to the moose. Then the moose glanced down at her clipboard and replied "I really don't have time to listen to your nonsense. Perhaps you should find someone else... someone who cares." Finally, after convincing themselves of the total righteousness of their cause, founded the order of the priests-who-stand-on-their-heads-and-wiggle-their-toes-even-though-it-tickles-their-ears and ate a boatload of cheese and beans.

The Morals: Dont talk about politics on a Spiderweb Software web-board and Don't make me come over there!

(Yeah I said that I'd only with one, but I decided to make an exception since my chosing method was rather weak. But this'll be the only time. Btw, is it me, or did this seem to flow a little better than most?)

I remember the reference in one of the 2 major topics that I've ever started on Spiderweb. That's what Jeff decided to call the world. But it wasn't until after the Exile series. Therefor it was only in the Avernum Series, if there was even a reference there. I never actually played the Avernum games much, so I don't really know.

Um, sorry bout that everyone. I was kind of on a vacation(which didn't go too well, but that's not important).

Btw. This could take a little sorting out, cause my PMs seem to have 16 responses about this game, so I'm going to have to, well, sort it out some how.

EDIT: Nevermind. Sorted it out I have.

The Story...

The great Penguin of the Abbys, who looked like a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle, went to To the 7th circle of Hell, past the chamber of eternal torment, by the purgatory of the thousand nails. There he met the legendary flying burrito of DOOM!!!! The Penguin said "Eew" and the burrito replied "Hmmh. I've seen a lot of things in my day, but never a hare-lipped stenographer who could play the trombone and recite the correct phylum for the ruby-throated hummingbird. Here's to swimming with bow-legged women!" Later, they decided to steal candy from a baby. Incidentally, stealing candy from a baby isn't as easy as people make it out to be. Those rattles can hurt!

The Moral: When it rains, don't hold your hand out.

Sorry I'm late with this, but I've been busy with stuff.

The story...

Krakko, the Incredibly Insane Piece o' Crap, who looked like a broken wine glass, decided to hang out at Miss Cleo's room where she usually does her readings (fortunately she's absent). There he met Carl Marx. Krakko said "I take my hat off to you, my good sir." and Carl simply replied "Why must you people keep bothering me? I never get a moment to myself!" Unfortunately, this took place on a red-letter day and they found all banks closed. Having no other prospects, they retired to a pub and, after much quaffing of ales and spirits, overturned a pool table.

The Moral: Never trust a banana

Actually, what spiderweb needs is to kill some of the members on this site. Surely the mods can come up with a nice list of people to kill.

Note to self, figure out why TGO is the only friend I have that I still hang out with.

I already told TGO that he can't get his password cause the e-mail address he used to make his first spiderweb account was on gamepro mail, and therefor, if someone emailed it to that address he'd never get it.

Besides, there's nothing wrong with starting a new account, even though I gave him his password a long time ago. It's not my fault he lost the piece of paper.

And here we are with yet another story...

A female platypus named Donkie, who looks like a beautiful teenage girl with outrageously amazing boots, goes to Happy Baby Chuck E. Cheeses. While there Donkie met Bill Gates. Donkie said "Many years ago, on a night when the moon was ripe and yellow, I first tasted SIN. Can you spare a quarter?" To which Bill Gates replied "You know what? I totally agree with you." Finally, they reconciled their differences. Because, in the end, what does it matter if one happened to be a vampire, and the other a hemophiliac?

The Moral: Never go out without £10 in your pocket.

Well, I just might check that out, although I seriously doubt I'm gonna stop doing civil war re-enactments to do that.

But making another sword to play with does sound interesting...

And it was. Good site for people who are really interested in it, but I'm still sticking to the Civil War re-enacting.

Mac users REALLY ought to see their website right about now... in General

Uh, there are many PC/Mac games out there. And there are also many Mac only games that are really good. There are also many good PC only games out there. So really there isn't much difference in the grand theme of over-allness.

Although I still find it funny that I took my iMac appart and put it back together and it worked perfectly, but when I did the same thing to my Zell, which was a tower pc, the motherboard kind of got fried and I had to get a new one. Then spend 3 or 4 hours bouncing between Microsoft, Dell Tech Support, Dell Customer Care, then Dell Tech Support, and finally a 3-way with Dell Tech Support and Microsoft just to get XP to work again.

However, few things in life are as sweet as knowing that while you're on hold, some poor vole at Dell is also on hold at Microsoft.

In the time that I've been on Geocities, I've noticed that neither I, nor my associate TGO, have been able to get our images to appear on forum sites when we post them. The Freewebs hosted section of my site has no problem with showing the images, but I can't see the images on every single forum site I'm on.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Okay. I've seen the G5 and I have one thing to say... I think I'm in love. Forget having a girlfriend, I want one. I'd rather have one than a girlfriend. God, if you see it fit for me to have G5, please give me a sign. I mean I really want it. I would kill someone to get one of those.

Must get job. Must get parents to help me buy it. Must learn magic. Must raze PHS to ash. Oh wait. Anywayz. I will do almost anything to get one. I haven't been that impressed with how a computer looked since I saw that powermac in a macaddict that was painted in a way that made it look really cool.

...And then Rentar raised her hand and a GIFTS appeared. Rentar quickly put her earplugs in, just before the GIFTS began to to speak. Suddenly Erika's head explodes. Kano Shinsu quickly covers his ears while casting a divine thud spell to slay the spider. However, before he can complete the spell, purple gremlins appear and show him a picture of Amanda Tapping without any clothing on. While Kano Shinsu is distracted by the picture, Rentar pushes him into a seemingly bottomless pit. Hinosu quickly lunges at Rentar, but misses and falls into the pit. Lone Flame, who is listening to GWAR, and thus immune to the effects of the GIFTS, blasts the gremlins with a Firestorm spell. Then Lone Flame pulls out ye holy brick and bashes Rentar in the head with it. Lone Flame then makes for the control panel, but is stopped by feminists who proceed to beat the hell out of him. With his fellow party members incapacitated, Mars rushes to the control panel and destroys Rentar's factory.

How's that for a sampling of Lone Flame's style mixed with Exile?

Now I think I'll wait to see if I get in trouble for the Amanda Tapping picture part.

EDIT: (darn typo demons)
